With six wins at Paris-Roubaix, our Roubaix has proven that Smoother is Faster. Until this moment, however, smooth has admittedly come with some compromises. But not anymore. The all-new S-Works Roubaix now delivers compliance without compromise by introducing a radical new Future Shock 2.0 that gives you more control and damping options, a new Pavé seatpost that creates our most balanced Roubaix to date, aerodynamics that equal the Tarmac, and a Rider-First Engineered™ frame that tips the scales below 900 grams (Size: 56cm - Black). Is it still comfortable? Sure, but don't call it a comfort bike, because performance was behind every engineering decision we made. This is the new Roubaix.

You wanted the best bike money can buy, and this S-Works delivers. We spec'd it with the full SRAM Red eTAP AXS 12-speed groupset, our World-Tour-level Roval CLX 32 carbon fiber wheels, the all-new S-Works Pavé seatpost, and S-Works from head-to-toe on everything from the Power saddle to the 28mm Turbo Cotton tires. It's absolute perfection.

  • The new frame delivers compliance without compromise via the perfect balance of aerodynamics, light overall weight, compliance, and Rider-First Engineering™. With tube shapes that were born in our FreeFoil Shape Library and validated in the Win Tunnel, the new Roubaix’s as aero as the Tarmac SL6. Meanwhile, to ensure the weight and ride quality, we turned to a Rider-First Engineered™ design to deliver optimal stiffness and compliance across all sizes, from 44 to 64cm. Of course, the frame also stays below 900 grams (Size 56cm | Black). And to prep you for your own Hell of the North, we’ve made room for 33mm tires.

  • To go along with the new frame, we’ve also developed a totally-new S-Works Pavé seatpost. Not only is it the first compliant seatpost that’s also aerodynamic, it does so without any additional weight or finicky contraptions. Starting with the same D-shape design found on the Tarmac, we took its compliance a step further by building additional flex into the upper and developing a new drop-clamp design in the frame. This provides plenty of compliance, while staying perfectly balanced with the front-end, so you get a smooth, balanced ride no matter how rough the road.

  • The Future Shock 2.0 is the result of our pro riders’ demands for the cobbles of Roubaix. It’s smoother, faster, and gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. Add it up, and this latest version will reduce fatigue and increase your speed, no matter the terrain. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.

Perfection for me

Got hit head on by a drunk on a moped 1 1/2 years ago, 2 broken legs and long recovery and I'm still in rehab. Anything I can do to be safer and more stable on the bike I'm looking for. This bike is amazing, I find myself going over and through obstacles on this bike just for fun, and it's still super fast. I've raced for years and been on a lot of bikes it just amazes me where technology has taken us and riding 100 miles on this bike is pure joy. I'll be taking it to Belgium this year for the classics! Rock on!

I have always been a Tarmac guy...having owned the last three models. I owned a Roubaix years ago, comfortable but soft and relaxed. However, I've been hearing a lot lately from other riders about the new Roubaix. These are strong riders so I valued their comments. I finally took the plunge and purchased a new 2020 S-Works Roubaix. I'm thrilled with it. It has almost all of the ""punch"" that I love about the Tarmac but really descends well. It goes downhill like it is on rails...much better than a Tarmac. The Future Shock does a great job smoothing out the road surface but otherwise you are unaware of it. I like the ability to run wider tires. I also like the SRAM AXS drivetrain...and am still playing with the shifting options to see which I prefer. I already loved the Power saddle and was glad it came standard on the bike. The bike is quiet...no noise from the Future Shock and the wireless drivetrain means there are no shifter cables or wires rattling inside the frame. At first I wasn't sure of the cosmetics...the raw carbon with a very thin black tint coat on top...you see all the imperfections of the carbon. However, I receive many compliments on the bike...it's unique...and looks black from 3 feet away. I now really like it. I encourage you to arrange a test ride...in 10 pedal strokes you'll be impressed. This is a great bike.

Unbelievable

I've had three Roubaix S-Works. This is by far the best, although they are/were all terrific. The ride is smooth, the shifting is quick and intuitive. The future shock just plain works, and the new seat post design and functionality is truly amazing. I rode it on a familiar route for a two hour ride to compare it with my current bike. It excelled at everything whether on the flats, climbs or descents. I was doubtful about the gearing, 46/33 with a 10/33, and even considered other options before I bought it or to upgrade later. After an hour I was a total convert. Just think smooth. The components synced immediately with my Garmin 520 Plus, the initial software update was fast and trouble free, and the Sram App is easy to use and far superior to Shimano's app for the Di2, which I could never master. This Roubaix simply beckons me to ride it.

Roubaix is the new bae you're looking for

Coming from riding a Venge, I was a bit hesitant on how the Roubaix would perform, and tested it for the first time during the Belgian Waffle Ride. I was impressed by how responsive the bike felt, and how much the Future Shock helped mute any chatter on the off-road sectors. Nothing was lost on the road as the bike proved equally responsive on the climbs. The SRAM Red AXS gruppo covers all the bases, and truly turns this machine into the most versatile bike I've ever thrown a leg over.

Absolutely amazing bike

I have 2018 S-Works Roubaix eTAP and totally loved the Future Shock and overall performance of the bike. After reading the specs and reviews of the new 2020 S-Works Roubaix eTAP AXS, I decided to buy it. And it has exceeded my expectations in every way. First, Future Shock 2.0 with dampening and on-the-fly dial adjusting dramatically improves shock absorbing over the original spring-only Future Shock. It instantly feels smoother and more comfortable. The entire SRAM eTAP AXS 12-speed setup is a mechanical work of art. The new gearing is smooth, quiet and fast. The Pave seat post and Power saddle are surprising improvement to the CG-R and Phenom. The new S-Works Roubaix frame design is a thing of stealthy beauty. At 69, comfort, performance and speed are essential. The new S-Works Roubaix eTAP AXS delivers in the most extraordinary way.
