The Roval Terra seatpost is the best choice for riding mixed terrain, gravel, or rough roads because it smooths the ride by allowing significant vertical compliance. The secret to this ride smoothing post is in the composite layup that we utilized. By utilizing composites with varying elongation characteristics at specific locations in the post, we enabled vertical compliance for comfort while retaining requisite strength for mixed terrain riding, all at a sub-200 gram weight (27.2 x 330 x 0).

  • Advanced composite construction delivers ride-smoothing vertical compliance.

  • Proven clamp design ensures ease of adjustment and slip-free performance.

  • 18mm Vertical Compliance (20mm offset / Full Extension)

  • 194 grams (27.2 x 330mm x 0)

  • Available in four sizes: 27.2mm x 330mm x 0 offset, 27.2mm x 380mm x 0 offset, 27.2mm x 330mm x 20mm offset, 27.2mm x 380mm x 20mm offset

  • System Weight Limit: 275lbs / 125kg

Pricey but it delivers

Purchased the zero offset, easy to install and make small adjustments with the one bolt design. I ride mainly on gravel rail trails and urban asphalt trails. The seatpost is active but not noticeable. It’s working all the time in the background. Wish it cost less but it is a premium product for sure. Would buy again, no regrets.

so far, excellent

My new Creo 2 Expert came with an ugly and too-short dropper so I had to do something. Good reviews for this post convinced me to try it. Installed yesterday. First impressions: seat post is elegant looking! One-bolt saddle clamp is a welcome innovation -- huge improvement on others I've owned. Markings (with no numbers) for height adjustment are so faint as to be useless -- an ill-judged attempt to be trendy? Haven't tried it in the wild yet; that will have to wait for better weather. But now the Creo fits perfectly, saddle position is almost dialed in and I've very happy with the purchase.

I'm surprised.

Its great. The one bolt has been a surprise, easy to adjust. Its light. I don't know about the flex some other have mention, I don't notice anything. Great product and I would buy another one for my second bike.

The best seat post

Wow! I could not believe how amazingly compliant and trail absorbing this post is. It’s on my Vada SL 4.0 which to be honest is a bit harsh in standard form, but with this post fitted it becomes a real joy to ride, soaking up bumps and vibrations, it’s definitely the best upgrade made so far!

Thought it might be kind

Thought it might be kind of gimmicky until I tested one. That convinced me to pick one up. Really helps with the buzz from uneven dirt and road. Just be sure that with the way your frame geo is designed that you have enough exposed seat post as it works best with more exposed.

excellent seatpost.

comfy and lightweight. I feel the spring. On a hard hit I bounced up once and then damped out a second time. I would have liked more visible seat height marks, but I am not perfect either. Great job spesh and roval.

Smooth. After reading a couple

Smooth. After reading a couple articles about seatpost compliance I decided maybe it was time to try carbon…again. I had been on a few different Ti post for a while. Installed the Terra post and could tell a difference quickly. Not a big difference on smooth(ish) tarmac, but as soon as I hit a manhole cover or other larger bumps….big difference. Off road this thing should really shine. Ride quailty improvement.

Fantastic post. Incredibly light and mutes road chatter with excellent flex and dampening. Will likely run this on all my fixed post bikes from here out.

Post has a mat finish

Post has a mat finish that is a little more difficult to clean. Also, it has so much much flex that the first few rides I was constantly checking my rear tire to see if it was going flat. After getting used to that I’m realizing this is an amazing feature since it makes the ride that much more comfortable. Finish is great and the single bolt does not give one peep or click ever.

Great post for so many reasons

I'm using this on a gravel bike and between the lifetime warranty, weight and flex of the post I was willing to spend the coin. The other great feature would be the weight limit of this post, even tho I'm no where near a heavy weight rider, I'm sure that's gotta be a great selling point for some of the heavier folks looking for such a great post. It also makes me feel more confident in it.

So good I bought it twice

Purchased one for my cross/gravel bike and liked it so much I bought another for my road bike. The roads are a little rough up here and it's significantly improved the comfort on long rides.
