ATB - All Terrain Bike SOLID AS A... From the mean streets to demanding dirt trails, the Hardrock® delivers performance and durability in a package that looks good and is built to be solid as a rock.Inside Tech Building a hardtail frame that'll last a lifetime and is still light enough to ride isn't easy, but in the 25-plus years that we've been building mountain bikes, we've learned a thing or two. For the Hardrock we use a 100% proprietary, butted A1 alloy tubeset that is light, but still tough because we put the material only where it needs to be. Optimized Radius Engineering top and down tubes add even more brawn and still manage to shave weight.

  • A1 Premium Aluminum frame, double butted TT, ORE DT, externally relieved head tube, reinforced disc mount, forged dropouts

  • SR Suntour SR7-XCM fork, 100mm travel (12": 80mm), 30mm Hi-Ten stanchions and steerer

  • Specialized 3D forged alloy stem, two bolt, 25.4mm, 10 degree rise

  • Specialized Enduro grips, dual density Kraton

  • SR Suntour XCM-T312 crankset for Octalink Spline BB

  • Shimano FH-RM30L rear hub, cassette, 36h, QR

Switch, chained to modifiy...

I own a 2006 modified specialized hardrock sport S-ONE within turn to custom model outfitted w/aftermarket components from its heavier pro stock original. Making to build this illness a sick lil street racing hybrid and my results are satisfactory

Still Shreds

My first MTB, the entry level Hardrock Sport has grown with its rider. I’ve owned this bike for over 10 years and have pretty much rebuilt the entire bike piece by piece, upgrading as I have gone. It’s got a tough A1 frame that can take a beating and I still ride it quite often, even now having a much nicer bike in my collection. With more modern, improved specs (upgraded forks, disc brakes, levers, 1x10 Deore Group, cranks, External thread BB, wheelset and BMX 26er tires, stem/bars and dropper) my Hardrock is in between a downcountry and BMX bike and is a lot of fun whether it be runs to the neighborhood store/Amazon locker or ripping some singletrack off the greenway.

Great entry level all rounder (with some modding)

Good for gravel country trails, light forest tracks, general out and about non extreme cycling. Upgraded front forks to 'bombers', changed to 7 speed shimano gear-train, rebuilt wheels with shimano hubs and heavy duty stainless spokes. This bike is a lot of fun and very versatile.
