The Ground Control GRID 2Bliss Ready tire is an exceptionally versatile trail tire. CAD engineered knob shapes strengthen the knob structure for optimal braking and traction, but knob surfaces remain adaptable for the best possible ground control. Meanwhile, our proprietary GRIPTON® compound helps make this the perfect choice for epic trail rides in any condition. Please note that we recommend GRID tires for anyone seeking increased flat and sidewall protection, or additional stability.

Produto excelente e entrega rapida
The 29x2.3 was 100 grams heavier than advertised, which is a big difference. Came in at 910 grams on the park tool scale. Otherwise it’s a pretty good tire. I’ll try something different next time.
Great tire!
Love these tires! ORAMM didn't have a chance! Full Grip and Fast Rolling
They have tougher / stiffer sidewalls, so they’re not the lightest, but I’m 100kg so that’s what I was looking for. Grip is good, tread is between grippy and fast. I got them on sale. Good value.
Just as great as the orig tire on bike. I like the 2.1 better than the 2.3. Now, I want another 2.1 for the back tire, too
Good tire
Good tire for price.
Great XC front tire and excellent value for mid-Atlantic trails
Ground Control 2.1 on 650b gravel bike are awesome. Not easy to find a less aggressive narrow tire for gravel and these are great. Riding single track on a gravel bike is like going back in time to before even front suspension on mtb’s. And of course drop bars make the 1 track even more exciting!
I have found that Specialized tires wear extremely well on my eMTB. T7 last 3x as long as T9. These Ground Control tires are less aggressive than they look in the images. I just mounted them and hope they grip. I have been running a Butcher in the front and an Eliminator in the rear. The Butcher and Eliminator are 2.6 wide and actually measure 2.6 wide with a caliper. These Ground Controls claim 2.6 but measure 2.4.
Awome grippy tough tire
Just got em and the grip is amazing
Great value. My stumpjumper was so slow when riding cross country. Got these rims and some lower rolling resistance tires and it’s a new bike. Amazing.
Great tire
Running as Rear w Fast Trak control on front. Great setup on Arch EX, no irregularities in shape or weeping sidewalls (like Max have been lately)Firm Casing Requires slightly less PSI than other tires to get same feel. Exceptional Gription Compound. While not XC race efficient as a rear, this tire rewards you with absolute confidence in cornering and climbing. I imagine when the center knobs wear down a tad this tire will roll a bit faster while retaining the excellent Corning. Great tire for your Trail/Trainer/Fun bike. Recommend for all purpose Riding!
Great tire with great tread. Using this on my Rockhopper.
1 mês de uso , alem do problema no pedivela que não para de ranger agora formou uma bolha no pneu traseiro
they were 897 grams in 29x2.3 which is only seven more than expected. Idk I was running controls on the epic before this and the grid is just too stiff for xc riding and aggressive cornering and rock gardens. I would have gotten control but it was not in stock. I did get a control gash but that was not something I would expect to happen in normal riding as it was someone else crashing into me not head on.
I bought a 29x2.6"" for my front tire a few months ago; it weight 905g on my accurate scale. A week ago I picked up the 2.3"" versions to run on the rear, same exact casing as the 2.6"". It weighs 910g. The 2.3"" tire advertises 810g. It is 100g heavier which is totally unacceptable. I am disappointed.
Besides my other review, on scales I measure 903 grams for my sample, whereas the stated mass is only 810 grams. That's more than 10% heavier than published!
I've run both the regular Ground Control and the Grid version and definitely noticed the increased durability on the Grid. I've been running the 29x2.3's on my fully rigid cross country bike and love their grip and traction but also find they go fast when you push them on the flats. When my current pair wears out or otherwise needs replaced, I plan to go with the 2.6"" for even more ground contact.
Ive had a stumpy since 2016 with 650 b 3"" tires.. they have held up to hell, through enduro, to road, to everything.. in the three years, it still has tread, however there is a gouging hole in it due to a crash.. but good thing i used tubeless, else i would have been stuck! Very great tires. Going to buy more.
The grip with this tire is pretty good. I think the profile is a little too rounded or the shoulder knobs should be beefed up a touch. It makes for pretty fun fast rolling trail tire as is though. The Grid compound on the other hand just isn't durable enough to handle life on the rear of the bike. I have had 3 punctured on this tire and I found several more slices that are on their way to being real problems. Basically I have less than 50 miles on this tire and I am going to have to find another as one of the punctures will not plug. Probably will try out the Maxxis EXO/Tr stuff next. Really disappoint as I really like specialized tires but the GC doesn't come in a black diamond casing.
So far so good. I really like these tires. Got about 50 miles on them already and no complaints or issues.
Good all around tire. Used during the Brek Epic stage race two years in a row and no flats at 22 psi. Used on rugged XC courses as well.
I've used these tires before and I like the quality. They may not be as light as some I've used but I've had problems with some of the lighter tires I've used like Continental Trail Kings. If you use Stans in those it will destroy them also. These are worth a little more weight for me because of the better quality and longer lasting performance. I run these on back for good rolling and Purgatory's on the front for better cornering.
Super pneus je ne regrette pas de les avoir acheté.

Good grip climbing steep hills
Got the non-Grid version with my stock SJ 6Fattie, it wears well, provides enough grip and is a supple tire. The stock tire was pretty tough also, so the grid is going to be a bit beefier and even more resistant to punctures. My only complaint is when using Stans sealant the sidewalls would get oily from the sealant leaking out. Switched to Orange sealant and 98% of the problem was solved (again this was the non-Grid version) so I imaging the Grid version will do better due to thicker side walls.
