Whether you're just getting into road cycling, commuting, or just looking for a new bike, the Allez is the perfect choice. Featuring a lightweight alloy frame, carbon fiber fork, and mounts for racks and fenders, it's as performance-packed as it is versatile.

Not only does a light bike feel better when you're climbing up a hill, but it's also essential when you're carrying your bike up to the 5th floor, and this was at the forefront of the frame design. With a redesigned E5 Alloy frame, the Allez features a class-leading weight. Aggressively thin-walled, yet tough, tubes have been implemented to save weight, as well, resulting in over a 450g (1lb) reduction in the frame and fork alone when compared to models of yesteryear.

Speaking of the fork, entry-level road bikes often times feature either alloy or cheap carbon fiber forks that greatly detract from the overall ride quality. But with a full FACT carbon fiber fork, the Allez is better handling, smoother riding, and lower in weight—floating over rough chip-seal and carving through corners like a slalom skier. For the geometry, we developed the Allez by utilizing our vast Retül fit database. This meant creating a geometry that's sure to cover a broad range of positions, while still providing the performance-minded handling you'd expect from your first bike.

This Allez also features integrated rack and fender mounts, allowing you to get weight out of your backpack and on to a lightweight rack when you need it. This not only makes for a good road bike, but it also enables you to transform it into a fast commuter.

For the build, this Allez features reliable Shimano Claris shifting, durable Axis Sport alloy wheels, and well-protected Espoir Sport tires.

  • E5 Premium Aluminum frame features fully manipulated tubing with smooth welds that increase stiffness and efficiency, while looking just as good as it performs.

  • Specialized FACT carbon, full monocoque fork designed for high-speed handling.

  • Shimano 2000 Claris STI shifters shift reliably and are ergonomically shaped to fit all hand sizes.

Great frame and forks

Bought entry level Red Allez for sprint triathlon use . Currently replacing everything except the frame/forks (after recall) with upgraded parts/wheels. Love this bike and regularly setting 30kph+ averages on my rides!!!

bargain road bike

This is a great bike road bike for the money. I do all my cycling on pavement. It cost me slightly more than the Nishiki Maricopa at Dick's. I thought this brand had a better reputation so I went to the local bike shop and got the 2016 model year for a nice discount. I kinda got lucky to find the older one because otherwise I may have bought the Giant Contend. The bike was riding ok on my test ride, but the local bike shop tuned it up and sized me. Then the bike felt great.

Love this bike!

I purchased this bike 3 months and have loved it! Great bike for the price. The bike has great upgrades compared to other entry level bikes. The saddle is stiff yet comfy, the tires provide a smooth ride while having extra protection form punctures and the shifting is smooth after a few rides.

Great bike for the price

Getting back on the road after many years and starting my son on road riding for the first time. I picked up 2 of these bikes and have loved how they ride, handle and look in the flashy red/black color scheme, real head turner. Shimano Claris is a first for me after riding Ultegra years ago. Surprised at ho crisp and precise shifting is, have not experienced any problems with the bike. Received notice about recall shortly after buying bikes however Specialized and my local bike shop have been great at working with us.

Good bike, not so good cable routing and fork

bought the bike on September 2017, the ride is good as you upgrade all along. for a product that pride for its frame engineering, the cable entering to the frame is hideous. and now on Disember 2017, there have been a recall of the fork, and the replacement take aeon to arrival. now i couldn't ride the bike, an unfortunate even with you specialized.

Great Value

I've got a 2016 Allez E5. This is the first road bike I have ever bought. Really happy with it after the first year. It does glide nicely over smooth and rougher roads. No isses yet. I have never road a more expensive bike but my general opinion is that this bike offers a similiar ride quality to a 1k-2K bike at a great price.
