Genius Simplicity
The very first ride the thing that struck me immediately was how comfortable and calm the bike felt. It was very easy to get along with and took no time at all to get settled in. As I am coming back to mountain biking after a couple of years break, I thought it would take a lot longer to regain confidence, but this bike gave me far more than I deserved!
It's actually very easy to forget about the bike as it is so out of the way, with the saddle down the bike sits so low you can move around as much as you need to. I experienced no heel or calf rub throughout my ride, and as the bike acted so naturally and predictably I was able to focus on the trails ahead.
Overall the spec and finish of the bike is great, and it means you spend more time thinking about what terrain you're riding rather than what you're bike is doing.
