Whether your goal is to escape on gravel back roads, far from cars and crowds, toe the start line at your first gravel race, or simply get the most versatile bike on the road or dirt, no bike is better than the new Diverge. It's quite simply the fastest, most capable - and just maybe the most fun - alloy bike we've ever made, delivering a ride that's quick and lively, but stable and confidence inspiring when the terrain gets rough. From Future Shock 1.5 and all-new gravel geometry, to category leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything we've learned over more than 40 years of riding road, gravel and dirt. The Diverge writes an entirely new chapter in the gravel bike category, so you can dream up entirely new rides. It's the ultimate getaway vehicle.

Starting with premium E5 alloy frame and a full carbon FACT fork, we gave the Diverge Comp E5 our Future Shock 1.5 for a fast, confident and comfortable ride on road, in the dirt, and over thick gravel. SRAM’s all new 12-speed Apex group shifts gears smoothly on any terrain and Axis Elite alloy wheels with Pathfinder Pro 42mm tires add even more capability and versatility.

  • Our Premium E5 Aluminum frame provides a stiff, light, and durable platform. When mated to our full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge E5 becomes a light, lively and versatile bike ready to attack any surface.
  • We’ve given the Diverge plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to stay out.
  • Nothing unlocks a bike’s capability like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive side chain stay utilizing a machined alloy beam behind the chain rings we’ve created clearance without using a fragile dropped chain stay design or increasing chain stay length

Love the new 2024 E5 comp

Glad I waited for the 2024 E5 comp. For 2024, the E5 comp comes with 42" Pathfinder Pros, which are tubeless ready, instead of the 38" Pathfinder Sports tires. It's also got the 12 speed Eagle cassette with a huge 52T gear for climbing steep hills instead of the old 11 speed which has been around since 2016. I live in the PNW so this has come really handy for the hills. The new Apex brakes also feel more confident than the old Apex. I also tried out the carbon frame, but didn't notice much difference at all in weight (a few ounzes at best) and comfort, since the Futureshock absorbs a lot of the chatter anyway. But I prefer the Al frame for better mounting options. Upgrade to a carbon Terra Roval seatpost and you got a better bike than entry level carbon frames.

Gravel Grinder

This is my first gravel bike, coming from a 90's Specialized Allez, and it's a world of difference. The combination of wide tires and front suspension thing make the ride super comfortable, and the 1x drivetrain is responsive and plenty enough for the hills and the flats in my area. I chose this one over the carbon upgrade because I wanted the SRAM drivetrain and aluminum has never let me down in the past. I upgraded the saddle and got the cool SupaCaz flat pedals and I just plan to put some miles on it before I add anything else.

new diverge

Received my new diverge and love it. started riding road bikes and racing a little back in 1985. changed over to mountain bikes for a bit. My boys are now riding Gravel bike, so I sold my YETI mountain bike and bought me a Diverge. Speed is back and I feel that I am back in the right saddle. I live in the central valley of California and ride a lot of irrigation canals. this is comfortable. I'll be ready next year for George Hincapies Gran Fondo. Great Bike. Love the color! The Orange Amber. Flat finish.
