Ok gloves (Not for below 8 degrees)

If these weren't brought from colder climates (8 degrees) I would highly recommend these. The fit and feel are exceptional probably the best I have worn over the 20 years of cycling.

Worst gloves in 10 years!

With a title of POLARTEC, and the words thermal on the packaging you'd expect these gloves to keep you warm. They don't. They act more like a heatsink and remove heat from the hands. They'll be OK in warm weather... but not in Ballarat!!!!!!

No more wet/cold hands

Got these to go with my trail Rain Jacket, which match perfectly. I like how these keep your hands dry and warm. I wish they had the D3O knuckle protection. Other then that these gloves are perfect. I probably wouldn’t recommend using these to start a snow ball fight, but for riding in the cold or rainy day, these will get the job done.

Wind penetrates the glove

Not effective for cold weather use as I find the wind still penetrates the glove and my hand gets cold as if I was not wearing any gloves at all.

I have large hands and

I have large hands and the XXL fit well. Hard to find other gloves this large. They are comfortable, have good grip and I find it easy to use my phone with them on. The velcro closure is on the bottom side of the glove which I tend to catch on things. It's poor placement in my opinion. While full finger gloves are nice in cold weather these don't wick moisture at all. If I'm riding in weather below 40 degrees I noticed my hands getting cold later in the ride.

Great glove! Use them for Winter Fat Bike riding.

These were recommended to me by my local bike shop. I use these gloves during the winter fat bike season and on cold wet shoulder season rides. My hands stay warm while biking so I don't usually need a heavy insulated glove (which these are not). I wear these comfortably when it's between 20 - 40 degrees. When these gloves won't work is if your hands are already cold and you put them on. They won't warm your hands but they will keep the wind and a little chill off and let your hands warm themselves - if that makes sense. Unlike thicker insolated gloves that I have tried these have a great feel on the handlebar and your hands won't sweat which leads to getting cold. Again, I use these as winter fat bike gloves and if you normally have cold hands they probably won't work for you in that situation - but it doesn't mean they wouldn't be a good shoulder season stay dry and keep the wind out glove.
