Air Tool Comp Standpumpe

Nice looking pump and when it works it is great. However on one of my bikes it would not pump air into the back tire. My old CCM pump with a corroded and broken digital air pressure read out pumps much better and reliably. Would like to know if there is something causing this to happen. I have presta air valves on both my mountain bikes.

Overall it’s a great pump. Pumps up tires fast and it’s accurate. I do find it’s a bit harder to get prestas to engage than other pumps….you have to push it in until it really engages (this might explain some of the reviews that say it doesn’t work at all). Also, a bleeder valve should be included on every floor pump. But I’d still recommend it.

I need to replace the plunger on the end of the pump rod. The pump is still in great shape but after leaving the thing in the garage for some time, the elasticity of the doughnut looking seal has made the pump unable to compress. So were do I find this item. Peter

Used my shimano two sided floor pump for a decade. Bought this fir cottage but will not connect properly to a presta valve. As soon as I start pumping it makes a clicking noise and then wont pump. Have swapped to back up rubber piece but didn’t help. Can’t figure it out.

Got this one in2018! Of all pumps I’ve owned this one seems to be most friendly with Schraded and presta stem valves! The prevouus one I had from PT blue would destroy presta valve stems.

This pump is great let’s me dial the pressure I want in my tubeless set up it’s easy to build trust with specialized products they are a head of the competition by far

This pumps up road tires quicker than most pumps with ease. The problem is the gauge quit working after 3 months of use and is cheaply made. I’d like to see glass and metal for the gauge and not this.

Hi there, This pump never worked properly :( I only ride during the summer and I regret spending this amount for something that doesn’t work. The psi indicator doesn’t give an accurate reading. Aremi Ramirez

Great quality, every touch point feels robust and well built. Time will tell on durability, but no regrets. Works well for my MTB and road bike, love the specificity and readability of the gauge.

Everything I'd want except a bleeder valve. (In retrospect I should have bought the mountain bike version that has the bleeder valve. But this pump supports higher pressures.) Solid construction. Seemless switching between Shrader and Presta valves. Nice big presure gauge. No complaints!

This pump arrived on time and worked good right out of the box. Easy to read numbers were great! I ride roughly 5K miles a year but where this pump will get a lot of use will be during Ragbrai. Team of 8 riding across Iowa. My other Specialized pump lasted 6 years an expect this pump to do the same if not more??? We build stuff better now right?? haha! We will see.

Large dial and numbers to easily get the right pressure in your tyres! Colour ensures that it is not lost in the garage!

I have had my Specialized Air Tool Comp pump since 2010. I have inflated loads of bike and car tires with my pump and 13 years later it still works like new. Excellent pump. Cannot go wrong here.

Rating only 2 stars as the gauge is off. Looks by 10 lbs. Filled my tire to 50 lbs and with my gauge it read 60. So I tried another pump I had it also read high.

This is an EXCELLENT floor pump. Love the dual-resolution of the gauge for handling both MTB and Road pressures. Super easy to read gauge, valve head connects extremely well. Add in an insane color (like day-glo red/orange, way brighter than the picture) and you'll never lose this pump.

This pump works fine to inflate tires, but the gauge is not accurate. I've compared it to multiple digital tire pressure gauges and found that the gauge on this pump reads about 100 psi when the tires are about 85 psi.

Specialized makes good products but my item had a flaw. Nice solid feel to the pump with a long hose. Gauge is slightly off by a few PSI. My pump had a bad check valve so air would come back into the pump and the handle would rise. Return was easy. If it wasn't for this, it would have been a nice pump at a good price with a color that would vividly stand out.

I've used a fair few floor pumps over the years. This is the only one I've ever used that works perfectly 100% of the time. It's easy to hook up & remove the hose with minimal air loss, the base is big enough that it doesn't fall over if bumped, and the gauge is great.

It works great. It seals well. I like the graduated gauge. I didn’t realize how inefficient my 10 year old pump was until I got this one.

I can always count on this pump to break the air lock seal when I pump up my tires. I also like that it is the only pump that can pump up my 80 psi airhorn with no problem. Every other pump I have tried does not work. I went on a 2-month bike tour across the U.S. with 60 other riders and this was the pump the leader used which was how I found out about it. Rugged and reliable.

I really like the range of the low pressure for my gravel bike setup but works with my road bikes as well.

The one thing I like about this pump is gauge. The first half of the needle travel is dedicated to 0-30 psi…the perfect pressure range for pumping up MTB tires with some accuracy. The second half goes from 30-120 psi which is perfect for today’s larger road and gravel tries. Now I don’t need two pumps.

Give me 2 more years to adequately experience my relatively new Specialized Floor pump. Tho’ so far (2w weeks) it works very well. The longevity & replacement grommet availability are important factors to me so must be included in any evaluation. Therefore, ask me again in 2 years. RB

Liguei em uma loja credenciada Specialized onde moro e fui informado de que não há peça para reposição. Espero que a Specialized faça sua parte.

I have an Air Tool Comp I purchased in '04 that I still enjoy, but it's beginning to show some wear, and I wanted to upgrade to the V2 for the larger readout for my ""about to need bifocals"" vision. The V2 doesn't disappoint, larger readout, larger handle and big base all work great. Best thing of all they didn't change a thing about the switch hitter head, it just works. At a time when so many manufacturers slowly degrade the quality of a product over the years to keep the price low, it's nice to be able to purchase the latest generation that actually has been improved over time. You could spend more on a pump but I don't think you'd get more. Added bonus for me is the Rocket Red finish is the same as my Chisel Expert, looks great.

works great! the only complaint i have is that it doesn't have a deflate button in case you overinflated or want to reduce the pressure. otherwise a really useful tool for all my bikes
