Surprisingly fast rolling

This tyre came as standard equipment on a Specialized Riprock 24 fat bike and is available as a replacement part. Runs just 20psi but surprisingly fast rolling and smooth. Steam rollers over all terrain with good road manners. Happy on tarmac with some rumble and epic in sand, snow and grass. Recommended.

Pricey but High Quality Fat Bike Tires

These are excellent ties that I still run on my 2015 Specialized Fat Boy. People often forget that this company was founded on making bicycle tires, and that quality shows through again in their fat bike and other mountain bike tires. I have been an amateur mountain bike racer since 1989 (NORBA Sport Class / now USCF Cat 3) and have been riding Specialized tires on all of my mountain bikes since then. While these Fat Bike tires are certainly very pricey, you often get what you pay for in life and these particular tires are no exception. After 5 years of weekly use, in varied trail conditions from the wet, muddy and loamy soil of Pisgah National Forest to the hard red clay of Piedmont NC and the deep sand on the NC Outer Banks, and a lot of asphalt road miles in between trails, these tires have really held up well over time (as has my 2015 Fat Boy). Both are still going strong and reflect the excellent quality and manufacturing standards for which Specialized is known.

Ground 😍
