Our latest to-see-by headlight, the Flash 300 brings Flux-style beam control to a more budget-friendly pricepoint. The Flash headlight combines a clean, compact design with a simple-yet-elegant silicone strap that reminds us of a watchband design from our friends in Cupertino.

With two different-sized straps included, you can dial in just the right amount of stretch to keep the Flash secure, while ensuring super fast install and removal. Now you see it, now you don't.

Thanks to it's 700mAh battery pack, the Flash 300 will deliver 300 lumens for 1.5 hours, all the way up to 75 lumens for 6 hours. In Flash mode, you get 150 lumens for 12 hours.

  • Single-LED oval beam pattern gives a perfect blend of spot and peripheral visibility.
  • 700mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery pack is an economical choice that delivers real-world usable lumens and runtimes. Micro USB cable included.
  • Installs in seconds with a silicone strap system. Just pull the strap under the handlebar and drop it into the slot on the light body.
  • Includes two different-sized straps to fit every round handlebar cockpit. (Flash headlights are not suitable for aero handlebars.)
  • Extra bright side lights to give you 180-degree visibility to other cyclists and motorists.
  • IPX7 waterproof means this light will be there when you need it, even in the hardest rain.
  • Steady High mode: 300 lumens for 1:30 hours
  • Steady Medium mode: 150 lumens for 3:00 hours
  • Steady Low mode: 75 lumens for 6:00 hours
  • Flash mode: 150 lumens for 12:00 hours

Waste of money

I had already three of these lights. The first two worked for about half a year (not regularly used, let's say ten loading cycles) then they didn't want to charge anymore. It felt like something was loose at the inside. Third light nothing seems to be loose but doesn't want to charge after half a year (also about ten loading cycles). Most rubbish light I've ever had!

Terrible

This bike light is terrible. It's bright enough when it works, but the issue is that it doesn't work most of the time. I used this about a handful of times before it stopped turning on or charging. I took the light apart to find that the wire inside had disconnected, so I reconnected the wire as best I could. This fixed the problem so that it would turn on again, but now, even when fully charged, it automatically shuts off after just a few minutes, so I have to keep turning it back on. Overall, waste of money, poorly made, and not worth the price tag.

Specialized Flash 300 failures

Bought 2 of these Specialized Flash 300 bike lights and both failed less than 7 months after purchase. For roughly $50 each, one would expect them to at least last longer than the rubber O ring that secures them to the bike. Think carefully if you are considering buying one.

Perfect for my Brompton!

This light is compact enough that you can fold Brompton handlebars without the need to remove or adjust the light.

Great light until it failed

Powerful and bright. Doesn't hold charge quite as long as expected but good enough. Failed after a few months. Won't switch on.

Great light but it failed after about 5 rides

Love the light but it failed after four rides. It was replaced without question so I'm pleased with the return policy.
