Let's be honest - Specialized gear is not cheap! But once you've got over that fact, it's really great quality. I set off yesterday morning in 28deg C temps and biked 10.5 miles in this jackets feeling great all the way. I only wish I had some Specialized gloves - better start saving my pennies.

I have never owned a ""winter"" jacket and have always layered up until I was warm enough...and we all know how bulky and miserable that is! This jacket is PERFECT! As stated with other reviews, it does run a bit snug. I ordered XL and XXL and ended up keeping the XL simply bc the XXL was too boxy. I only have to wear a base layer (moisture wicking or L/S T) with this and am very comfortable. Definitely cannot wear it unless it is under 50* or you will be too warm! This jacket keeps your shoulders and torso warm, but the lower part of the sleeves (nylon material) allow ventilation so you are not too warm. Looking forward to many cold weather rides with this jacket. Worth every penny!

Love the yellow green color against the black! Goes with everything. The only thing I can say is that it runs very small. I am a size 10 and a extra large is snug and will be ok with a thinner shirt over a sports bra. If I were to wear a sweatshirt, it wouldn't. FYI. Ride on!

This is a great colder weather riding jacket! It allows protection from the winds, but isn't too heavy. The only drawback is that they run a bit tight. I understand that being a more muscular woman makes it difficult to get your size right, but at an XL, it's just barely big enough. Overall, it's a great riding coat!
