It's also a mountain bike!

Reaching a certain age and with two road bikes.. summer and winter.. I usually complete the set with a Emtb, but noticed that I wasn't doing anything particularly mountainous! My Creo 2 with the headshock and big tyres goes everywhere that I ever went on the mtb plus is also great on the roads. Running out of range doesn't completely ruin your day. I tend to get 40 ish miles which is good, but today I have bought the range extender.. not necessarily to go much further but to worry less about staying in economy mode. Really recommend. It doesn't have the kick of something like the bosch cx but I'm still very happy

52 yr old 'dad' cyclist. Mainly wheels on ground.

Had it about 2 months. It looks great, rides beautifully and feels really high quality. The app works well and allows plenty of adjustment and customisation. The motor is very natural, with easily enough power. I particularly like that I can ride it with the motor off and it feels(as close as you'd expect an electric to get) to an analogue bike. Miss the 50mm dropper that's specced on the other (carbon) versions, though. I did email the Specialized concept store in Harrogate to see about fitting an after market dropper, and they said it wasn't possible. Which does seem strange. I swapped out the Pathfinders for a set of 44mm WTB Raddlers, set up tubeless, which are working out great and definitely smooth out the ride. Thought the 'Future Shock' stem was going to be a gimmick. Not so, it really helps to smooth out the buzz. I'm 5' 10"and went for the XL as I have a bad neck. Best decision I made! What else can I say, it's incredible amounts of fun and I love it!

More miles, more smiles...

I got my E5 on-line after trawling limited stock available. originally wanted a carbon but glad I got this. The weight diff in size XL is about a full water bottle so noting really. That said it feels like a fully loaded tourer without the power-on and is totally ridable if range phobic. Personally I’ve tuned the outputs in App to 30% Eco 50% sport and 75% max with no battery issues whatsoever ever. The ride is smooth and the new motor is definitely much quieter than the older version as I’ve met other people out on rides. I run a Redshift sus’ seat post giving a luxury magic carpet dream machine mile muncher. The supplied Spec’ saddle is actually super comfy too! Who knew? The extra weight this e-bike is most notable on steep downhills on bridleways or single track. The bikes drifts a little to the natural line often the wettest and slipperiest! it climbs so well too at 6’4” 90kg rider. If you want the legs you always wanted, climb like a mountain goat! Then get this bike.
