Stumpjumper 15 is here to obliterate every trade-off in the trail game. Devour bumps…

GENIE Grants Every Trail Rider’s Wishes

GENIE Grants Every Trail Rider’s Wishes

This game-changing, patent-pending air spring technology that we invented grants every trail rider three wishes: feel and control of a coil spring, better bottom-out prevention than a standard air spring, and a tunable “platform” for a playful feel.

What’s Inside GENIE

What’s Inside GENIE

Check out how GENIE combines the control-enhancing linear spring rate of a coil spring through the “bump zone” with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the stroke to reduce bottom-outs. It's the best of both worlds – coil and air – with extra tuneability. Say goodbye to compromises and hello to the future of riding.

Unlock Your Ride with Tunable Geo

Unlock Your Ride with Tunable Geo

Stumpjumper 15 boasts the planet's most capable trail geometry. With six-way adjustability, tailor your ride to perfectly match your style and terrain. Explore our interactive Geo Finder to pinpoint your ideal setting.

Eats Bumps Like an Enduro

Eats Bumps Like an Enduro

GENIE shock technology gives the Stumpy 15 16.3% better bump performance than ‘Bike of the Year’ Stumpjumper EVO. It literally uses more travel for the same size bump, thanks to its flatter spring curve in the first 70% of travel.

57% Better Traction

57% Better Traction

GENIE delivers 57% less traction loss time than a standard air-sprung shock because GENIE technology gives you supple, coil-like performance, which keeps the wheel in contact with the ground a greater percent of the time than a typical air spring would.

Bye, Bye, Bottom Outs

Bye, Bye, Bottom Outs

Send it with confidence knowing that in field testing GENIE eliminated 39% of severe bottom out events compared to a standard FOX Float air spring.

Stumpjumper 15 is here to obliterate every trade-off in the trail game. Devour bumps like a big bike? Check. Short-travel control, playfulness, and efficiency? Double check. How about a heaping helping of personalization to make it perfect for the only rider who really matters—you?  Check, check, check.

BREAKTHROUGH CAPABILITY: GENIE Shock Technology combines a poppy, playful ride with a bottomless DH feel.

ULTIMATE CONTROL: Measurably better traction than “Bike of the Year” Stumpjumper EVO.

UNMATCHED PERSONALIZATION: Six-way geometry adjustment, mixed wheel or 29”, tunable spring curve, and more.

GENIE—The Magic Carpet Ride: The biggest innovation on the Stumpjumper 15 is GENIE. This patent-pending air spring technology that we invented grants every trail rider’s three wishes: the feel and control of a coil spring, better bottom-out prevention than a standard air spring, and a tunable “platform” for a playful feel.

ILLUMINATING GENIE: GENIE combines the control-enhancing linear spring rate of a coil spring through the “bump zone” with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the stroke to avoid bottom-outs. Truly, it's the best of both worlds – coil and air – with extra tunability. Say goodbye to compromises and hello to the future of riding.

WHAT BUMP?: With 16.3% better bump force management than a traditional air-sprung shock, GENIE makes the Stumpy 15 ride like a bike with more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 (with 145 mm rear wheel travel) and our Enduro (170 mm travel) both use 101 mm of travel to absorb a 1080 N bump force.

TRACTION GALORE: Extensive field testing proves that Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE delivers 57% better traction than a standard air-sprung shock because GENIE technology gives you supple, coil-like performance, which keeps the wheel in contact with the ground a greater percent of the time than a typical air spring would.

BYE, BYE, BOTTOM-OUTS: 39% fewer bottom-outs than a standard air spring. During big hit events, you benefit from the rising rate in the last 30% of the GENIE stroke. Because of this two-stage, pronounced rising rate, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom-outs.

HONED GEOMETRY: This bike’s geometry delivers big bike capability when you need it, a nimble feel in tight sections, and lively, efficient climbing manners. The generous cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and corner control. The low bottom bracket, slack head tube angle, and optimized fork offset keep things stable in the rough.

RIDE YOUR WAY: The Stumpjumper 15 seamlessly integrates benchmark geo adjustability, making it the most personalizable trail bike ever. Six distinct geometry settings allow you to hone performance for any style, any terrain. Head angle and bottom bracket height can be fine-tuned for stability or clearance.

WHEEL CHOICE: With our aftermarket shock links, you can choose between big wheels front and rear or mix things up with a 27.5” rear for a more responsive and playful ride. No matter what you choose, geometry is unaffected.

CARRY IT ALL: SWAT 4.0 on Stumpjumper 15 elevates downtube storage, an innovation we pioneered. It’s the smoothest operating, most weather-resistant, flush-mounted system ever.

MORE RELENTLESS THAN YOU: Our full suspension bikes are built to be relentless, designed to endure years of hard riding and backed by the best support and policies to keep you on the trail. Our unbeatable lifetime, no-questions-asked replacement of suspension pivot bearings to the original owner is just one way we've got you covered.

Truly a trail bike to rule all trail bikes.

I have had this bike for a few months now. It feels light and snappy and climbs very well. It can ride as aggressively as I want and the bike feels planted and well balanced. Every part on this bike feels top shelf and quality was front and center when they designed and built the Stumpy 15 pro. It’s been so much fun riding this bike. My previous bike was a 2017 Stumpy fsr. Night and day difference and it’s really neat to see how far the bike tech has come in all those years. Pricey but worth every penny!!!

Poppy and plush

This bike is great on tight technical rocky up and down terrain. (Fruita lunch line). I was wondering if I could find a scenario where I like this over my Stumpy EVO. This bike is also more playful on flow blue but if you want a high speed jump line the Stumpy EVO still tops it for me.

The trail bike

This is my favourite trail bike I've owned this past decade. It transfers so well from cross-country technical terrain back to my local lift-access bike park old school DH and jump lines. It's playful x reliable.

worth every penny

this is my first upgrade in past 10+ years. Just had it a little over a week, very durable, never felt this luxury riding a bike. I wish I had it in my 20s

The Best Stumpy Ever

I was on the fence after reading some initial internet reviews (and associated comments). Glad I pulled the trigger. With a solid long weekend in Moab on my new stumpy pro including some big technical rides, I'm cleaning features I would have walked on other bikes I've owned. Pull the trigger, YOLO!
