The Eliminator GRID 2Bliss Ready T7 features a new generation of tread that combines an aggressive block design with a well-balanced tread pattern. Its transition knobs help bridge the traditional channel between center and shoulder knobs, making the Eliminator perfect for enduro. The Eliminator still has the bite of a DH tire, but it also brings the manners to handle well on hardpacked trails. These characteristics also work well for trail e-bikes, too—combining the bite needed to stay in control on the trail with neutral handling on fire roads. The GRID casing provides the utmost in cut and flat protection at the sidewalls. And of course, the 2Bliss Ready design is the icing on the cake, allowing you to run lower tire pressures and all but eliminate the risk of pinch flats. It also features our own GRIPTON® compound that maximizes mechanical grip, damps vibration, and offers unparalleled traction in either wet or dry conditions. The T7 compound offers a perfect blend of grip and durability.

  • Casing: 60tpi light and supple trail construction with additional sidewall protection for exceptional durability and sidewall stiffness for stability.

  • Bead: Foldable.

  • Butyl wrapped bead = 2Bliss Ready.

  • Compound: GRIPTON® T7.

  • 29 x 2.3", PSI 25-50, approximate weight 890g.

Pleasantly surprised with the rolling

Pleasantly surprised with the rolling speed coming from more XC tires. Grip is pretty good, but I have noticed the single compound's limits a little bit on wetter roots/rocks. I'll likely go for the dual compound next time, but the sale price on these was too good to pass up. Using as a front with T7 purgatory rear.

Great tire, terrible durability

First off, if the knobs didn't rip off, i'd give this 5 stars in terms of performance. I've had mine on the rear for a few months and most of the tire is in great shape, however, i had two knobs rip off and i can clearly see the sidewall. I've had knobs rip off other tires, but not in a clear square where you can see sidewall underneath. Bummer as the tires performance is great.

Knobs tearing off

Like the above reviewer, I also like the tire--using a 2.3 rear, but...while adding air today and looking carefully I can see that about 50% of the side knobs are torn and showing the casing underneath. I ride quite a bit, but the tires are only about 2 months old and the tread itself is not very worn.

Good tire, terrible wear life

This came stock on my 2021 Stumpjumper Evo as a rear. Makes a great rear tire, and is obviously directly comparable to the Dissector. Good blend of grip/rolling resistance. After putting 250 miles on them, about half of the side knobs on the rear non-drive side are either tearing or completely torn off from the body of the tire (and flapped loose, exposing the inner layer). This isn't something that has ever happened to me with Maxxis tires. Super disappointing and won't be running these again.
