Our pro-favorite S-Works Romin EVO with Mirror saddle is designed to deliver exceptional comfort and ensure blood flow to soft tissue when riding in a low, aero position. By replacing foam with our Mirror technology, we’ve also reduced sit bone pressure up to 26%. We developed Mirror technology by 3D printing from a liquid polymer to perfectly reflect your anatomy. This revolutionary process creates a complex honeycomb structure that allows us to infinitely tune the material’s density in a way impossible with foam.

The Body Geometry ergonomic supportive cut-out is designed to maximize blood flow, while the unique saddle shape allows you to maintain comfort, even in a competitive, aerodynamic position. Our very first concave FACT carbon fiber shell enabled us to create our thickest Mirror pad ever with 22,200 struts and 10,700 nodes, while oversized carbon rails create a saddle that's ready for anything.

The carbon-railed, lightweight S-Works Romin EVO with Mirror is a high-performance saddle that's designed to put you in a position for optimal power transfer and comfort as you put pressure on your competition.

  • Patented Body Geometry design is lab-tested to ensure improved comfort and blood flow to sensitive arteries.

  • Mirror technology pad features 22,200 struts and 10,700 nodes, all individually tuned.

  • Concave FACT carbon fiber shell is flex-tuned for support and ride compliance.

  • Ultra-light oversized FACT carbon rails.

  • SWAT™-compatible mounts molded into the saddle base allow for sleek and integrated storage solutions.

  • NOTE: Oversized 7x9mm carbon rails are not compatible with seatposts equipped with side-load clamp mechanisms for 7mm round rails.

  • Size 143mm/Weight 190g

  • Size 155mm/Weight 198g

Expensive but worth every penny.

I absolutely love this saddle. I initially had the Romin Evo Comp Gel on my Alchemy Ronin Ti. I got it because it looked like the word Ronin. After riding it for a few months and my rides got longer I decided to go for something better. That is not to say that the Romin Evo Comp Gel was not a good saddle. Since the Romin Evo Comp Gel was so good I decided to save my money to purchase the Romin Evo Pro with Mirror. I have been happy with it since my first ride. I initially did not think it would make a difference, but I am happy to be wrong. I tackled a 77 mile ride with 10,016 ft of elevation and I was very comfortable during and days after the ride. I would recommend this saddle if you do long rides. It is definitely worth the money.

Awesome

Some how manages to sit firm but absorb vibration like nothing I’ve ever ridden before. It would difficult to go back to a non mirror saddle. Carbon rails on the road, went ahead and put ti rails on the trainer.

padding is collapsing

After 2100 miles, padding is collapsing and separating from shell. 1st few rides it was an amazing saddle unit the padding started to collapse and separate from the shell, now unrideable.

Really wide in the middle

This saddle is super wide in the middle so it hits my inner thighs. I've never ridden a saddle so wide. Maybe others can make this baby work. It's nice, but having resistance against my legs while driving the pedals doesn't seem like amazing design. I wonder if the older version was also so wide?

Best Saddle Period

There is no more comfortable saddle than the 3D printed Romin. I was using the SWorks Power Mirror but the slimmer profile of the EVO works better for my physique. I use this saddle on all of my bikes, road, MTB and gravel.

Excellent for XC MTB and Road

The most comfortable saddle I’ve ridden yet. Coming from the Toupe which I used for both road and extensive much more demanding XC MTB riding, this saddle has many benefits. My usual rides are 3+ hours of technical single tracks and even with premium bibs, fit and function are critical, and this saddle is excellent. The surface ever so slightly reduces sliding around, and enables me to maneuver the bike better. The fit works well for me, the Power saddle did not as the ‘flare’ interferes with my legs, but the shape of the power arc works well for me in both the road and MTB, I like the Romin as it is about 20mm longer than the Power arc, which I’ll continue to use on the road.

Extra Comfort for Long Rides without the Extra Weight

This is a very comfortable saddle. I am able to ride longer and further without feeling any aches in my tailbone. The saddle adds little additional weight compared to other comfort-oriented saddles. It's a great addition to your lightweight bike riding kit.

Amazing saddle

I had to make sure I completed a few rides before I do this review. I must say although my most expensive saddle ever purchased, it exceeded my expectations. The Romin Evo is without a doubt elite comfort, with or without a bib. The looks is a plus too for its sleek design. The price of the seat I no longer think about lol

Amazing sitbone & rami comfort, but the nose didn't work for me.

Extremely comfortable under the sitbones and pubic rami. The middle of this saddle feels narrower to me than the Power Mirror 143mm, so this one is worth a try if the Power Mirror causes any thigh/groin chafing. Unfortunately, because the center part of the saddle flexes downward with my body weight, sort of forming a hammock shape, I found the nose of the saddle to be a problem for me. I'm in a rather aggressive position with a rotated pelvis & weigh 190lbs. Both of these could be a factor with the nose discomfort, or it could just be my anatomy.

So far I'm impressed with how comfortable it is

So far so good with regards comfort. Still needs a bit of bedding-in to mould to my backside and me to get fully used to a different shape, but this is always the case. So far I'm impressed with how comfortable it is. It would be useful (at this price point) to have an indicator on the saddle somewhere, where the level point is of the saddle is achieved, or instructions on how to get to the level point, since the saddle is curvy so using a spirit level won't work that easily. Other saddle makers provide this detail. Only reason I've not given it 5 stars is because of the price.

It beats Fizik Fizik Antares R1 Versus EVO Adaptive Carbon Saddle

I first bought the Fizik Antares R1 Versus EVO Adaptive Carbon Saddle thinking nothing will be better. When I saw the price on the Specialized adaptive saddle go below $400, I snatched it up. I'm glad I did, because it's the best saddle I've ridden with so far. Good for an 80km ride (that's usually as far as I'll go, regardless). I do recommend this saddle!

Not for me

I was excited to try the SWorks Romin Evo Mirror on a new gravel bike and was expecting to purchase a second for my road bike after previous good luck with Specialized saddles. Unfortunately, this saddle does not work for me at all, and I'm quite tender 24 hrs after a 30mi ride on a bike path and city streets. At 215lbs, the material is too soft for me. Besides not quite achieving comfort at the sit bones, the compression at the sit bones also caused me to bottom-out the center area where my other saddles have cutouts, causing perineal pressure that leaves me sore today. I may try another width/style before ruling out the Mirrors, but so far I much prefer conventional Specialized saddles with cutout and minimal padding.

It really help bumps in

It really help bumps in the road. I’ve always used Romin saddles. I tried 10-15 different saddles when I started riding 8 years ago. I usually get one with very little cushion. This one is an exception, it does behave like those cushiony ones, but doesn’t . I think I’ll put one on my gravel bike too.

This saddle works for me.

This saddle works for me. The original saddle that came on my SL7 was a bit hard. Replaced it with the power printed version. On the road it worked but on the trainer it was not that comfortable. With the printed Romin I am able to move nose to tail with ease or sit tight in one position, without any discomfort.

This saddle is incredibly comfortable.

This saddle is incredibly comfortable. My previous saddle was an S-Works, very nice. But this 3D printed surface is amazing. It eliminates minor road buzz without ever feeling too soft or squishy at all. It provides cushioning and support without feeling like it’s pushing back so I don't feel pressure points like my previous saddle. I typically ride 100 miles/week. I haven’t had any issues with keeping it clean, although I don’t often ride on wet or muddy roads.

I'm a convert - Most comfortable saddle ever!

Despite the high cost, I took a chance and bought one for my road bike early this spring. I quickly came to the conclusion that this is by far the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden. So much so, I snagged a second saddle for my gravel bike as well. Definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for'

10 year road enthusiast. Best product I have ever bought. Totally transforms the feel of a bike. You don't notice most of the time but when you hit a bump it's almost like suspension compared to a foam saddle. Even at these prices its way cheaper than some "vibration cancelling" frame tech that's available. Would never buy a foam saddle again.

Looking for a change from

Looking for a change from my old Romin, I tried many other saddles but concluded Romin just suits me best. I procrastinated for ages due to the crazy price of the saddle before finally just going for it. I wish I could say it’s not worth it but it it’s impossible to deny the saddle is THE most comfortable around. The look on the faces of my cycling mates when they try it out just emphasises how much of a game changer this is. That said, I still have to take one star off for the price.

It’s a keeper

My favorite Toupe finally gave up the ghost and the shape has since changed. I’ve gone through 4 different saddles including another brand’s 3D printed one all with varying degrees of success. I finally bit the bullet on the 143 Romin Mirror during the short period of time when it was in stock. About 300 miles on it so far, absolutely the most comfortable saddle for me. Price be darned, I wish I didn’t like it as much as I do. Specialized has absolutely nailed it!

Supportive saddle

Coming from a Sworks Romin, hence, I was a bit worried about the additional "weight"...:). However, after one ride ultimately convinced this is the real deal. The saddle is a bit higher, I had to lower the saddle 5 mm (74 kg) to end up to the same ride height.

Great for Gravel!

Simply adds a whole level of smooth to gravel riding, especially after a few hours of riding where my lower back and sitbones would start to complain. This new approach to padding feels like your body is suspended on the 3d mesh rather than perched on top of some padding. Comfortable in the drops and in the flats, sitting forward, or back. Butt doesn't get numb like other more padded saddles I have tried. Just ordered my second for my indoor trainer bike. Highly recommended, worth the cost.

My new favourite upgrade

In a moment of curiosity I ordered this to replace my Selle Italia SLR Flite Boost for my Pinna F12 which I had previously been very happy with. Wow, so glad I did! It feels supportive, comfortable and very light straight out of the box, but on the bike it really impresses. Is a little grippy on the bib shorts, so if you like sliding or freedom of movement this may not be for you, but I quickly became accustomed to this and actually find not better for stability now. This saddle is a very comfortable place to be, especially for long 100k plus rides and certainly if your backing up the next day... highly recommend if you can get over the price point!
