Getting the ride data you need shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg, and that's why we created the SpeedZone Sport Wireless cycling computer. It has all of the pertinent features you need for your ride, all in one sleek and intuitive design.

In terms of functionality, you'll find that it displays more than just the basics. On display are vital metrics, like speed, max & average speed, odometer, and trip meter. Even better, it has an auto-wake/auto-timer function that doesn't require you to fumble through a bunch of buttons to get your data. And lastly, its display makes the digits larger than average, so you'll have easy sight of all your metrics.

  • Automatic functions create an extremely intuitive interface.

  • Auto-wake and auto-timer: no need to push a button to start/stop the computer.

  • Wireless speed, maximum speed, and average speed.

  • Odometer and trip meter.

  • Speed comparator and low-battery indicator.

  • Small in size, yet big digits for easy viewing.

Transmitter keep breaking

I actually love this little computer, has all the basic functions you need and is easy to ride. Only real and series complaint is the transmitter unit mount keeps breaking an either have to seen back to Specialized (not sure how many times they will allow me to do this) or but new computer. When they break I take one off the other bikes to use. I now have at least 5 computers that I have not transmitter available. My riding partners just broke today so now I have to figure a way to replace it.

Display died over winter months, however I got it working again

Unit died over the winter months. Usually I just put in a new battery, but this year was different. I got a partial display which faded over a couple of minutes. I took the battery out and tried another company, same thing. I did this several times and still no results. I gave it one more try and nothing, however I removed the battery and then thought about keeping the battery in overnight. I reinstalled the battery and I got full display. I went through the setup and everything is working now.

Great bike computer to track speed and distance.

I've used this device for over 6 years and has worked great for me. It's simple to set up on the bike and on the device, as well as being very easy to use while riding. I only wished it had a back light on it for night riding.

Product failed after ~ 2 years

My experience was similar to other users who reported fails here. It lasted for about 2 years (~2000 miles) before the 'puter stopped recognizing the signal, despite new batteries, and even though the display reads as normal. The fail occurred while riding on a stretch of rough pavement (thanks, SC DOT), so it's possible something jiggled loose inside, but still, I'd expect a road bike product to be robust enough to handle such on-road conditions. nb, this model replaced a similar version that lasted about 3 years of riding before failing. Other than that, I found the product fairly easy to set up and install. Changing the batteries is a bit tricky, and requires some patience. In terms of accuracy, I've found the stats to be a bit higher than those captured simultaneously by Strava on my phone.

I would never buy again.

Purchased Speedzone Wireless 2+years ago. Only use bike seasonally and not even daily. Changed battery once and the other day computer just stopped working. New battery is still working but computer doesn't register any information.

Excellent Basic Bike Computer

If you want a bicycle computer with just basic functionality (speed, odom, avg spd, max speed, elapsed time, time of day), easy to program and use, good value for the money, reliable, then I would recommend the Speedzone Sport Wireless.

A simple computer that does the job!

I've had Speedzone Wireless computers on all of my bikes which has kept me from diving head-first into the world of Strava or other apps similar. All I want is to have a general idea of max speed, how far I've ridden, and the time. This computer does just that!

Inaccurate

I purchased this computer, installed according to instructions, and it's terribky inaccurate, so I took it and my bike back to the bike shop TWICE. They calibrated it, TWICE but it is still about 3 mph off on speed and about a mile off on distance. I am returning it.

It died.

I've had this for 4 years, and it worked fine until the screen went blank. Replaced battery (twice): screen shows fragmented lines. Guess I'll have to buy another brand.

Never worked for me

I installed this on my wife's bike after a warning from the bike shop that the receiver has to be really close to the transmitter. BAD IDEA! I have the transmitter as far up on the fork as it will go and the receiver directly above it on the handlebars. I've never been able to get it to work. The only reason I bought it was that it was pink. My wife had to have pink.

It's ok... when it works

It does useful things like tell me the time and speed. Problem is when you accelerate too quickly the thing starts bugging out. I'm an urban rider so this happens often. It'll say I'm going 30 mph then drop to 2 mph, then back up to 25 mph when I'm really going 18-20 mph. The only way to fix it is to take it out of its holster and reinsert, which essentially resets the entire computer. This makes it pretty useless at telling the time since it resets to 12:00. I only got this because I had $75 credit since my Specialized Allez fork was recalled and the sensor sits on the front wheel, allowing me not to bump it when carrying my bike upstairs. It looks nice, but is really just a buggy piece of equipment on my bike.

Simple but nice!

While this isn't the latest and fanciest ""connected"" device, it does its job well. It is essentially an easy to see odometer, clock, and speedometer. For those who want to post their ride to Facebook and Snapchat - useless. For those who want to know how fast they are going and how far they have gone - very useful.
