Keep it low and aero without sacrificing comfort. The Cr-Mo railed, lightweight Romin EVO Comp Gel is a road saddle contoured to put you in a position for optimal power transfer and comfort as you put pressure on your competition. Its supportive foam and gel inserts increase comfort, even in a competitive, aerodynamic position, while the Body Geometry channel is designed to maximize blood flow while riding. And if you're torn between this and the Expert, they mainly differ at the rails. The Comp features durable Cr-Mo rails, while the Expert has lighter titanium.

  • Patented Body Geometry design is lab-tested to assure blood flow to sensitive arteries.

  • Stiff, carbon-reinforced shell for longevity and all-day riding efficiency.

  • Lightweight and supportive PU foam with gel inserts for increased comfort on long rides.

  • Durable hollow Cr-Mo rails.

  • Tough, lightweight, and water-resistant Micromatrix™ cover.

  • Level 2 padding: Medium density foam for bike feel with additional cushioning.

  • SWAT™-compatible mounts molded into the saddle base allow for sleek and integrated storage solutions.

  • Size 143mm / Weight 266g

  • Size 155mm / Weight 278g

  • Size 168mm / Weight 281g

Saddle too heavy.

I expected a lighter saddle at the price that I paid for this product. Any road bike would be much heavier if this saddle was installed. I would not recommend this saddle.

Nice saddle

I tried Power ARC and Power saddle, but this saddle was the best. I know there were only short nozzle saddles recently, so I didn't have many choices. However, it's not a problem on a normal ride, but on Zwift I get numbness in my groin. I think it's a slight angle issue, so I think it needs some more adjustment. I am also interested in the Mirror saddle. It would be a good choice for those who use both front and back rides.

Still a great seat

This is the second evo seat I have owned. It is a bit stiffer with the gel inserts, but it is still very comfortable. It is one of the best seats I have owned.

Good if you like long and flatter saddles

I tried endurance saddles to ease comfort such as the shimano Pro stealth. After a while I noticed lots of pain where my lower cheek hits my upper hamstring. I persisted for months. Decided to yolo buy this saddle as its a long narrow one and it fits like a glove. I can ride 90min without bibs and be more comfy than my previous endurance saddles. No numbness or bum cheek pain.

This is a really comfortable

This is a really comfortable saddle with a pressure relief profile. If the popular Specialized Power doesn't agree with your bum, give this one a shot. Paid full price and it's worth every dollar.

Geat saddle with just enough

Geat saddle with just enough flex in the center to be comfortable without absorbing movement in the wings to rob power. Super added bonus of the threaded mounts in the rear to mount my Vario radar so my seat post is clear for my high mounted set bag. Saves my shorts from wear by rubbing the edges of the seat bag. Great saddle at a great price.

Takes some time to get

Takes some time to get to the stiff saddle if you come from a highly padded saddle, but I now no longer have any numbness if I position myself correctly on the saddle, thanks to the relief channel. This saddle should not be used for too long without padded cycling shorts.

My bike fit specialist recommended

My bike fit specialist recommended this seat years ago, so I just replace my seat with the same one after it wears out.

Decent but…

Had an original Romin gel for about 8 years and loved it. Finally needed a new saddle and saw this at a good price and got two of them. Decent saddle, comfortable when you find that right spot. But this saddle is about half an inch shorter than the original. Not something I’m used to and had I known that it was shorter I wouldn’t have got it. Not a big fan of the short saddle but that seems to be what everyone is doing today. I was going to give three stars but that seemed kind of harsh. So I gave four stars for me not doing my research before hand.

Comfortable & well built

I had ridden on this saddle for the last 4 years, supper comfortable and very durable product. I upgraded road bikes this year and tried using the factory seat that came with the bike…didn't last 3 months. I bought a new version of the Roman Evo Comp and am back in a happy place. Highly recommend.

The best saddle for your prostate

After one year of suffering on the prostate area I found this saddle and now I enjoy my rides. I put max efforts and I don't have any issue. You can move all around on the saddle. Another thing that I notice is when you sit on and ride you feel like a bull. Looks like the saddle is too aggressive and you want to hit the pedals again and again like a maniac.

Forgot I was sitting on it

Recommended by my local Bill's Bike Shop by Mark. 1st 10 minutes, wasn't sure about it. Didn't feel those chatter bumps I ran over. At 20 minutes, I forgot about the saddle. More miles.... a few minute adjustments: Comfy, comfy, COMFY!!!!!!!! Best bike saddle I've ever ridden on!!!!!!!!! At 1000 miles on it, the comfort matches my Specialized shoes. Absolutely THE BEST!!!!!!!!! You pay for what you get. Love to ride??? Spend it on Specialized Enjoy your ride
