Turbo Vado SL 5.0 EQ

Meet the Vado SL. This super-light e-bike was designed to take on anything from daily commutes through urban landscapes to clocking even faster workouts. Need to carry your bike? No sweat. Weighing 40% less than the full-power Vado, there’s no other electric bike out there with ride quality, range, and power like this. All you need to do is get on and go.

The Vado SL comes equipped with everything you need to start riding right away. First, the extra-bright, built-in lights give you higher visibility in low-light areas. Next, the MasterMind Turbo Control Unit (TCU) makes it easy to view ride info on the go. The Pathfinder tires roll fast on or off the pavement with plenty of grip, and the Vado SL's featherweight status also makes it perfect for city commuting and offers far more than ride quality — it means you can hang it on a wall or car rack. And it makes public transportation a breeze.

So whether you're going fast or far or both, the Vado SL provides the confidence to do it all at a fraction of the weight.

LIGHT WEIGHT: You’ll be blown away by how easy it is to lift your bike on to a rack, carry it up stairs, or ride nimbly around town, thanks to the category-leading light-weight of the Turbo SL technology, optimised frame materials, design, and specification.

COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT: Body position and handling are optimized to deliver unsurpassed riding comfort, confidence, and control. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes reign in your speed, while larger tires provide maximum traction for turning and stopping.

LONG-RANGE: Enjoy ride-anywhere range, go up to 80 mi / 130 km on a single charge. Need more? You can add an optional range-extender battery that fits in your water-bottle cage to take your ride even further.

TURBO SL: The heart of the Vado is its Turbo SL technology, the advanced and integrated electric bike system that delivers an unequaled combination of light-weight, natural feel, anti-theft functions, training tips, a full-function bike computer, ride anywhere range, and more.

The speed limit at which the motor will stop supporting may vary significantly by region and is based on local requirements. It may also affect range: a higher speed limit may result in less range.

Best E-Bike EVER!!!

This is my 3rd e-bike and by far the best. I've owned a Stromer ST5 and a Stromer ST2, and as fast and powerful as they were, they were heavy and because they had a limited number dealers in Toronto, getting any service done or getting parts for them was nightmarish. I sold both and went with the Specialized Turbo Vado SL 5.0 because it delivered everything I needed, a fast lightweight e-bike that still made me put in some effort and yet had the battery range for my type of riding. Plus, since its Specialized, the quality is top notch and the ability to get service and parts is easy. Highly recommended.

Best eBike

I have owned 7 eBikes, this is my go to bike for everything. Lightweight, versatile and beautiful to look at. Very stealth. Easy to ride. I have 3,500 miles on my bike and nothing has gone wrong with minimal maintenance. (I also own the Creo and a non electric road bike). I recommend this bike to anyone looking for an all round great bike for roads and gravel paths. Top class build, great styling.

Great and friendly service.. my bike was deliver in time. Your customer service should be the norm. I'm a bike mechanic. Many people come to me asking me what bike they should get. I feel confident recommending Specialized to every one. I think the quality of your product and your service is superior.

Love on First Stride

Recently $ my turbo Vado sl @ Kinetic Cycle. Fell in love with the brassy yellow frame while in showroom floor. I just after the first few strides knew in my riders heart that this was the one. It has speed and for a heavy rider was surprisingly smooth and did not endure any jarring on my joy ride. Every component to this point makes solid sense. The shifting was quick and decisive no matter ranging up or down. I do wish the peddle quality was better, however I feel they do this as most not unlike myself has a preference and will switch them out. I am geeking out on all the well thought out components they chose. This of course might give pause, correction or create feelings otherwise....only time and miles will define the truth of my decision to invest.
