Turbo Vado SL 4.0

터보 테로 전기 자전거도 갖고 있습니다. 터보 테로는 길 비슷한 거 만 보여도 쓱 지나면 편안하게 다닐 수 있습니다. 엉덩이에 편하지요. 그런데 무지 무겁습니다. 아파트 엘리베이터에 실고 다니면 여간 눈치가 보이는게 아닙니다. 특히 제거는 미디엄 사이즈라서요. 다들 협조해 주지 않으면 운신하기 어렵습니다. 그래서 고민고민하다가 버스에 태울 수 있고 자가용에도 넣을 수 있는 전기자전거를 찾다가 터보 바도 4.0 을 구입하였습니다. 마침 할인 중이어서 가격도 저렴하구요. 타본 소감은요. 우선 아파트 엘레베이터에 아주 잘 들어가고 여러명이 같이 있어도 부담 안 됩니다. 사이즈도 이번에는 스몰로 하니 들고 다니기 매우 편안합니다. 아직 버스에는 안 넣어 보았는데 충분히 들어가고도 남을 거 같습니다. 잘하면 차에도 앞 바퀴만 분해하면 잘 들어갈거 같구요. 시단 승용차에요. 승차감은 매우 다릅니다. 터보 테로를 탈때는 땅에 무엇이 있는지 잘 안 보아도 아무 문제 없습니다. 아주 편안한데요. 터보 바도는 땅의 지형 잘 봐야 합니다. 바퀴도 얇아서 진동 매우 잘 느껴집니다. 대신에 가볍고 날씬하고 작은 밧데리 용량에도 불구하고 잘 다닐 수 있습니다. 터보 테로를 들고 다닐 수는 없으니, 들고 다니고 간소하게 타고 다닐 터보 바도도 구입하였습니다. 사실은 그리고 보니 코모도 하나 있는데, 이거는 좀 팔아야 겠습니다. 아파트 공간도 부족하고. 전기 자전거 운동 안 된다고 생각하시지요. 그런데 동네에 있는 전기 자전거와 달리 스페셜라이즈 자전거는 특히 코모 바도는 그냥 일반 자전거와 거의 구분안되게 작동합니다. 귀신이 뒤에서 힘을 살짝 보태는 느낌입니다. 물론 동력 없이 내힘으로만 하는 게 좋긴 한데, 나이도 좀 들고 하니 남 도움 받으면서 운동하는 것도 좋은 옵션인거 같습니다. 한번들 타 보세요. 로봇 청소기 써 보고 건조기 써 봐야 뭐가 좋은지 아시지요. 이것도 그런 거 입니다. 스페셜라이즈드 터보 바도, 편하게 운동하면서 즐겨 보세요.

A nice light bike. I like mine. The power is good but slightly slower than contemporary battery bikes on a hill. Its still good though. My all-pedal road bike took me 20 min's to get to the top of St Johns hill from home - The Valdo 4.0 12 min's so it really helps - its really good. But ask yourself why you are buying the bike. Commute or weekend rides? I seem to use it for commuting more, and a work colleague got the Specialized Como at the same time as me from Tredz, and if you cycle in Britain, the thicker tyres and front suspension mean this bike is actually a nicer and faster ride on pavements and round the city than my Valdo. But the Valdo is a good light fast bike. But not the best for work commuting.

My battery failed after just 6 months of very light use, it had only around 10 charge cycles. Their warranty service has been terrible, waiting over a month to hear back and no answers. Unbelievable that for the price tag of the bikes this happens and this is the customer service. Really disappointed, would not recommend.

Recently purchased one of these. It's a replacement for my green turbo Levo. The Levo is an amazing Emtb which I mostly used for getting around town, but was/ has been a faithful servant to ride on up hills and down dales and will be sorely missed. However, I now have a much lighter Vado SL in the lime green. It's a great fun bike to ride around town and is so lightweight and maneuverable. I can pick it up and carry it over my shoulder as and when I need to. Whereas the Levo required military planning to bring up and downstairs to my flat, and also back out again!! Electric power, shockingly bright frame colour (love it!), light weight and easy on the eye. What's not to like!!!!

Love it! It’s just what I needed, I think I’m an eBike convert now. It’s not too heavy and has enough assistance to allow me to ride much further without fatigue. Good spec for the money, easy to live with. Range is good so far as mostly using in Eco mode. Specialized app is great too. Quick delivery and almost ready to ride out of the box. Would highly recommend as a bike for fitness and recreation.

It’s an excellent bike that gives just enough assist to an average fitness person. Light and agile.My only criticism is that you can’t turn the lights off, but I think that has been addressed on the new 5.0

First time on an E-bike. Had it a while now and after having bought the additional battery am chuffed to bits I got this bike. Really really good and makes riding fun not a slogfest. Just hope my batteries don’t die 😂👏👍

Lovely bike let down badly by the ridiculous rear parcel shelf. Rack time products only. They are expensive and there is no other option.

My experience from ordering on line through pickup at Snitger’s Bikes in Beaver, Pa. was excellent. The bike is every bit good as promoted. So far I have enjoyed two rides totaling 40 miles. I am 75 yrs old and I see the Vado Turbo SL adding many pleasurable miles to my biking while getting substantial exercise.

Motor assistance is smooth: it makes me think I'm doing it on my own. Battery life is more than adequate for my needs.

Been riding bikes for over 60 years . Traded in my racing bike and Bought my first e bike ( Vado turbo 4.0 ) over 2 Years ago b/c I was experiencing knee pain when I pedaled too hard or went uphill. This bike is a dream to ride . I found out 28 mph on a bike is fast and requires your full attention. I ride 10 miles to work and back , very comfortable ride b/c of tire size and bikes superb geometry . I’m 6’ and got the large frame - fits me perfectly. I think the pedal assist bikes , like this one , are much safer to ride than ones with throttle . I’m getting ready to buy another one for my place in Florida. You will not be disappointed if you buy one.

Great bike, does everything I need from a power assisted bike, just enough power when needed, and the weight is much lower, (around 15kg) than most others on the market. Use of the Mission Control app is easy too.

Love the bike so far. Only about 50 miles on it as now but it’s pretty much as advertised. Battery range will obviously vary on rider weight and level of assist. But I’m a BIG guy and and have used the 60% and 100% for less than 5 miles and I’ll get 60-65 miles out a charge for sure.

The Vado sl model is very light and handles well. Excellent battery range if you use minimal assist on flats portion of rides

I love the Turbo Vado SL 4.0 so far. I'm a heavier rider, and the motor is a great size. It helps me enough that I can ride to work or the store without getting too sweaty, but I still feel like I'm getting a light workout. Very fun. My only advice to new buyers is to make sure you pick the right model. Each Vado seems to come with different racks and mounting options. My local bike shop wasn't even very clear on which models are or are not compatible with various racks -- find a good shop or call specialized customer support before purchasing. Happy riding!

We are 72 years road bikers that love the outdoors and did not want to shorten our rides but the elevation gains in the Virginia area were challenging us to make shorter adventures. Hence, we purchased 2 Vado 4.0 SL bikes and it was a game changer. We still do 25-40 mile rides and don’t worry about the “hills”. These bikes are light & perform wonderfully. Money well invested.
