When we say "The Ultimate Trail Bike," we mean it—the all-new Stumpjumper is everything you could ever ask for in a trail-ripping steed. Want a bike that climbs with ease? The Stumpjumper delivers, thanks to a ground-up suspension redesign and lightest-in-class frame weight. How about something that's ready to shred when the trail turns downhill? That suspension re-design - paired with new Trail Geometry and the Rider-First Engineered™ frame’s perfect blend of stiffness and light weight - turns the Stumpjumper into an absolute monster descending. Point it where you want to go and let the party begin.

The S-Works Stumpjumper frame is the perfect starting point for you to envision your own interpretation of the Ultimate Trail Bike. Start with our supremely light, incredibly strong, FACT 11m carbon frame. Then dress it to suit your needs, whether those needs be singletrack soul surfing or death-grip mayhem.

  • THE TRAIL BENCHMARK—When we set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, we pursued some hefty goals. It had to excel on any kind of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve that, we went after serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff, responsive chassis that still rides light and lively, geometry that improves everyone’s riding, and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design. Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper.

  • THE SWEETEST 130MM OF TRAVEL YOU’LL EVER RIDE—We massaged the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to bring out the very best all-round performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats big terrain like a gravity fed beast, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor.

  • PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY—The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. It’s long, low and slack, with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable climbing, more better everywhere. With FlipChip adjustability you’re able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose.

  • RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™—Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you’re a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you’ll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight, And by light, we mean real light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, S-3 size, with rear shock).

  • SWAT™—We introduced the SWAT™ door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding room IN your frame for those “oh sh**t” necessities like pumps and spare tubes, and immediately rendering jersey pockets redundant.

The best trail bike

I absolutely love this frame set. I’ve always wanted a carbon stumper as soon as these came out. I was riding a trek fuel ex 9.7 and I cracked the frame. I was able to use most of my parts from that bike with the exception of the dropper and bottom bracket to fit on this and the difference bet the two frames are night and day. They club equally but the stumpy takes the cake in control, cornering, and overall feel. Since it’s the s-works frame, it’s even lighter as well! I have been absolutely loving this bike and have taken way less spills on this stumpy than I have on both my 2017 fuel ex 8 and my 2022 Fuel ex 9.7! The only thing I think the stumpy benefits from is a 36 fork and not the 34 it usually comes with. Unfortunately Fox discontinued the 140 36 and only offers it as 150. Luckily my trek had a 36 140 Fox float fork and I have been absolutely loving the set up. I am a specialized convert now!

S-Works Stumpjunper Frame Set

I love it so far. This is an upgrade to my 2015 S-Works Camber Carbon. I just finished the build-up with all new composted with a local Specialized Store and the bike turned out great. I love the mix of colors on the frame and it rides and climbs like a charm. I’m still working out the seat position and which flip chip position. No complaints whatsoever. This is my dream bike that became a reality. I look forward to many years riding on my new Stumpy!

Perfect trail bike

My Epic Pro was not a good fit for the rough technical trails where I now ride. I needed a bike with more travel and slacker steering. As it turns out this Stumpjumper frame paired with a Fox 34 140mm Grip2 was the perfect answer for my current riding conditions. I transferred all the parts from my Epic Pro, plus I added 2.35 Ground Control tires, to make a perfect light weight trail bike. It is an excellent climber albeit not as fast as the Epic going up, but it smokes the Epic on the downhill. With the DPS damper set on medium, and the chip on high, I found that there is zero pedal induced movement when accelerating or climbing.

Great buy!

My Epic Pro, while an awesome bike, was not able to handle the trails now, where I ride. The ruts, rocks, drops and obstacles from the recent storms require longer travel suspension and slacker steering. I parted out my Epic Pro, and using those parts, I built up this frame. The only additional items I needed were 180mm rotors and a Fox 34 Grip2 140mm fork. The complete build only added two pounds, but now I have a solid and excellent handling trail bike for technical terrain conditions. I was pleasantly surprised with the rear suspension adjustments and capabilities. There is a wide range of adjustments to perfectly dial it in depending on preferences. There is zero bobbing on climbing, and it climbs superbly, albeit a bit slower than the Epic. The Fox 34 fork is the perfect match for the frame.

Best evah!

Very light and snappy. Climbs like a damn goat! I have the Sworks stump EVO as well. That’s my DH rig and this Sworks stump is my new do everything else rig. Took it on some chunk and it handled it with ease. I’ve been a loyal specialized owner since 96. I’ve tried others……just doesn’t fit the bill for me.

Exceeded Expectations!!!

I went on a limb and built this bike. It’s Rad!!! I’ve been riding an Enduro for 2 seasons and wanted a less travel bike for riding in the Midwest. It feels very similar to the enduro but pedals better and is a bit lighter. The Stumpy can still handle gnarly terrain as well. It’s very nimble and is excellent trail bike.

I built this frame up

I built this frame up with SRAM X01 Eagle components and took the Traverse carbon wheels off my 2019 Stumpjumper to use with this frame. This bike is awesome and the S-works has a much sleeker (not sure how to describe it any other way) geometry than my previous Stumpjumper. Great frame, great bike... lots of fun to ride.
