Unrivaled suspension kinematics, sublime handling, perfectly-tuned frame stiffness—the Stumpjumper Comp is our fully featured, fully affordable, full-carbon, definitive trail bike. All-new geometry, all-new suspension, thoughtfully spec’d—it’s ready to take you wherever the trail may lead.

  • THE TRAIL BENCHMARK — When we set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, we pursued some hefty goals. It had to excel on any kind of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve that, we went after serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff, responsive chassis that still rides light and lively, geometry that improves everyone’s riding, and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design. Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper.

  • THE SWEETEST 130MM OF TRAVEL YOU’LL EVER RIDE — We massaged the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to bring out the very best all-round performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats big terrain like a gravity fed beast, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor.

  • PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY — The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. It’s long, low and slack, with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable climbing, more better everywhere. With FlipChip adjustability you’re able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose.

  • RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™ — Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you’re a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you’ll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight, And by light, we mean real light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, S-3 size, with rear shock).

  • SWAT™ — When we introduced the SWAT™ door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, we increased pocket space, and added room for those “oh s**t” pumps and flat accessories. With the new Stumpjumper, we’ve kept those same design hallmarks that you know and love.

Amazing Bike!!!

The stump jumper comp is amazing. For my first dual suspension it has been so good. The suspension is so smooch. And the geometry makes it so easy to ride. It rides in all terrain. Over all amazing bike would get it over a lot of bikes.

My 1st mountain bike

After wanting to try mountain biking for quite some time and realizing that my upstate NY area has plenty of trial options I decided to go for it. I did some research and went to my local bike shop where I saw the Stumpy on the 1st display when I walked into the shop. I test rode it and loved it but did not buy at the time. This was during June of 2021 during the pandemic. After the test ride I did some more research to discover in online forums that this bike could not be found anywhere. I apparently rode the one bike that was for sale by a dealer at that time lol. Even the website said out of stock. I realized that I had such a rare opportunity to purchase I great bike that I went back to the shop the next day and thankfully it was still there. I have been trail riding every weekend since. Thank you to Specialized for making a bike I can be grateful for and am lucky to own. And the ride is amazing, shreds with ease. I highly recommend the Stumpjumper.

What an upgrade

I purchased this bike after renting one in Sedona, just had to have it. Upgraded from a starter hardtail so this was a huge jump for me. The lightweight carbon frame is forgiving, climbs well. The 140/130 is perfect for my riding style with enough to hit modest jumps. Crazy better value compared to the other brands.

Awesome bike ..great value

Traded in 2018 Epic....Stumpy fits my taller frame and allows for better riding position. Looked at other Spec. models but felt for a 50Yo+ this was good value for the money with Carbon frame & still relatively mid to high end componentry when comparaed to Expert & Evo. Side by side all the models have the same carbon frame just with minor tweeks. Great value for your money & you wont be disappointed. Been on few rides after 1 week of owning this machine and really happy with purchase.

Perfect Trail Bike

I moved from an aluminum hard tail to this modern trail bike and find that it meets all of my expectations and is helping me improve my riding. I particularly like the lighter weight and excellent climbing stability (no bounce) and the smooth ride the suspension provides over the often rocky terrain in my area. The SWAT box with water bottle cage has allowed me to ditch the pack for shorter rides from home. I read some criticism about the Fox 36 fork but have not experienced any performance issues (although I tend to hop over obstacles rather than aggressively jump). If there is a con, I’ve found the derailleur is not as responsive in the mid range as I would expect for a bike in this price range. It is still a joy to ride and I’m getting out quite a bit more as a result.

Handles it all!

I love my Stumpy! I was slow to adjust to the slacker ride, but now absolutely love and appreciate the well-balanced, capable ride! Super fun! Fantastic value! Also love and appreciate the storage feature! Yay!

Perfect All Rounder

A fantastic bike! This is my very first full suspension bike after four decades of riding hardtail mountain bikes. It seemed initially not to climb very steep terrain as well as the XL Merida Big Trail but this changed with practise. Being much lighter in the nose, it was quite wallowing so reactive weight distribution is critical. The lightweight carbon frame takes a bit of getting used to but after putting the bike through it's paces for a month or so, you get a good feel for it! Having rear suspension over rocky terrain for the first time is just amazing!! Totally recommend!!

Love this bike! Finally after

Love this bike! Finally after all of these years I have a bike frame that is the proper size for someone at 6'5". Great starter build that handles a wide variety of terrain with ease. Would highly recommend this for someone looking to get into mountain biking with a great value at this price point.
