Whether you’re hunting for Strava PRs or looking to ride big elevation, the all-new Torch 3.0 is the perfect companion. Combining classic aesthetics, premium construction, and elevated comfort, the all-new Torch 3.0 is a not-so-distant relative to its S-Works counterpart. Sharing key features like a unidirectional carbon plate, dual-zone BOA® closure, and a seamless upper, the Torch 3.0 is an efficient, comfortable, and dependable performance shoe.

Body Geometry Methodology: The human body evolved to walk, not pedal, which leads to power-robbing foot collapse, misalignment of the foot, knee, and hip, as well as “hot foot” in traditional cycling shoes. The Torch 3.0, like every Body Geometry shoe, helps solve these problems with three patented technologies - Varus Wedge, Longitudinal Arch & Metatarsal Button - to deliver a pain-free increase in power that’s validated by scientific testing and two decades of well-documented ass kicking.

Carbon Plate: The Torch 3.0 features a lightweight, unidirectional carbon plate that enables balanced stiffness throughout the shoe, all while using less material, thus saving weight and ensuring efficient power transfer, mirroring its S-Works counterpart. Additionally, large rubber grips on the outsole of the toe and heel provide a stable, grippy platform for a seamless transition when pushing off the pavement to clip in or coming to a stop at a traffic light.

Comfort: The key to a comfortable shoe is all in its construction—balanced stiffness paired with micro adjustable, multi-directional precision fit adjustments and a supple upper is the perfect package for maximum comfort. It’s like the story of Goldilocks—with the Torch 3.0, we made a shoe that fits just right. Bringing riders efficient power transfer paired with premium BOA® Li2 dials and a seamless TPU & mesh upper makes the Torch 3.0 the perfect fit for every ride.

  • Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment.

  • FACT™ carbon composite sole and torsion box construction is directionally rigid for outstanding power transfer: Stiffness Index 8.5.

  • Dual Boa® S2-SV Snap dial closure for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa® Lifetime Guarantee.

  • Mesh, TPU, and synthetic layer upper are placed in specific zones for comfort and lock-down, and are thermobonded for a superior fit.

  • Standard Fit for support and all-day comfort.

  • Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals.

  • Approximate weight: 248g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

Great fitting shoes/size options

This is my first pair of shoes that have worked for me ( first time clipping in). The shoe is very sturdy and durable. I really appreciate having the half sizes. Double BOA really was a plus for fit. I tried a pair of Shimanos but in there defense only had single BOA's, but did not work for me. The toe section of the specialized shoes also were a better fit for me.

Foot pain after 44 miles.

I have an issue with my Torch 3 shoes. Balls of my feet hurt after the 45 mile mark. Tried moving the cleats. Tried different pedals and cleats. Just wore them on a 7 day, 650 mile ride and they were killing me. Specialized support’s answer? Try a different brand. You know what? I will. Good riddance.

Best shoes for the money.

I don’t have narrow feet and these shoes fit perfect to me and are true to size. I’ve only worn them for about 200 miles and they felt perfect since day one. They’re the most comfortable shoes I’ve tried.

These are awful

I bought these last year to replace a pair of Bontrage after one of my dogs ate the top of that pair. What was great about my prior shoes was that the winder (that tightens the "shoelace" worked smoothly and seamlessly, in part because you could pop it up a bit to unwind or wind, then push it back down. The winders on these shoes are awful. They are hard to grip, they do not pop up, and I spend inordinate amounts of time trying to get them off after a ride. This is not a "breaking in" issue because it's been this way the entire time. I simply would not buy these again.

Shoes don’t break in

These shoes have an initial decent fit, albeit really stiff in the uppers. Over a couple dozen rides, they have not broken in even slightly, so are really uncomfortable after about 15 miles. I’m constantly aware of that sensation. Also, the BOAs on these shoes jam easily with road grit, much more than past models.

Awesome shoe

Such an awesome shoe but why do they not come in half sizes to cater to the wider foot?

Awesome, a tad on the narrow side

This shoes are awesome, super duper stiff for awesome power transfer. They're just a tad narrow for my fat feet, but the toe box is roomy enough that they're still comfortable. Body geometry insole is about as good as you can get without a custom one. Heel cup is great, 0 heel movement without having to crank down on the boas.

Almost perfect

The tongue is too short. The curved outer area over the upper BOA is rough and digs into your skin. Look at photos from above of the Torch 3.0 and the S-Works models - the tongue on the S-Works model is significantly longer, which should help with the problem, but this appears to be a huge design flaw. It's a shame the more expensive S-Works model BOAs don't support pull to release.

No wide verison. Maybe one day?

I went to check and potentially buy a pair of those new Torch 3.0, but they don't do a wide version, unfortunately. Then I tried S-Works Torch - wide version, but the problem is I need half size come on Specialized start doing the wide version in half sizes plus maybe do more than one color as you can only get it in black. I wanted to buy Torch as the "Body Geometry" feels nice, but I have to go somewhere else. The one-star review is just to maybe get someone's attention. Thanks.
