This seat pack uses too many velcro straps to attach it to the seat. However, the velcro that is supposed to close the opening is too short. If you use this pack with its full capacity (with the extension), it won't even close securely. It is very odd that the closing velcro strap is facing down when installed. It doesn't make any sense. When you hit a bump, it easily opens up. I LOVE specialized bikes and helmets, but they have to up their game with storage gear.

I've been using this on my MTB and Gavel bike for a couple of years.. I've had issues with it staying secured to the saddle when the Velcro gets wet and dirty. Usually just one side comes off but occasionally I've lost the hole bag. Fortunately, Ive recovered it every time. I have this issue with other bags that use velcro to mount as well. This is probably only an issue for those of us who ride in wet conditions like we have in the Pacific NW. Beyond that. I like the shape and size of the bag and would recommend it for fair weather riders.

The seat pack is exactly as advertised and that's a good thing. Well designed and looks great on my Specialized Cirrus Elite. The only thing missing is a direction manual.

This large sized pack is the perfect size in-between those saddle packs that are too small to hold your essentials for a good distance ride, and those that are better suited for multiple day bike tours. Holds my tools, an extra inner tube, patch kit, my sunglasses, wallet, keys, and iPhone 7+, and can hold even more. I'm thinking about purchasing an XL size next, just in case (a bit more room for some other incidentals such as snack/energy bars, and my Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooch external speaker, sunscreen, etc. I purchased it from Incycle in Pasadena, CA; an excellent LBS FYI that has an excellent selection of different purpose bikes, brand names, accessories, and repair service. I love that it secures very well to your seat post and saddle rails, and easily comes off quickly as well.
