Epic bike for epic adventures

Used this bike to take on the Icelandic Highland crossing. First year we got beaten back by the weather - the Icelandic Rescue teams closed the highlands to everyone (including NASA!) Second year we got across with only 1 mechanical - pretty incredible considering the terrain is unremittingly brutal. Bike handled really well, even when fully laden with kit and all the food (53kgs!) Off to Norway soon !

What fun!

Got this bike used. Have ridden over rocky XC single track and dusty fire roads. Super fun, the drivetrain and shifters are more than adequate. Brakes are not the beefiest but are easy to upgrade. Overall a solid and fun ride. Typical specialized quality build.
