Designed in conjunction with the acclaimed hand surgeon and avid cyclist, Dr. Kyle Bickel, the Contour XC Grips were developed to meet the high demands of cross country riders. As a result, the exclusive design greatly relieves hand pressure while also providing maximum control. And in terms of performance, they feature an extremely tacky and durable grip, so you'll be able to rail corners and get out of the saddle with no worries.

  • Medically designed to conform to hand anatomy. This relieves pressure-related symptoms, such as pain and numbness, which often lead to fatigue.

  • Rigorously designed for control in an all conditions and over any surface.

  • Super tacky, yet durable, grip provides superior control.

Really improved the comfort and handling of my hardtail.

I've got big hands, and the stock grips on my new Specialized Epic Hardtail felt like pencils in my hands. These feel great! I'm loving this upgrade.

Almost perfect

I like the ergonomics of the wrist rest; however, I find the grips themselves to be too narrow/small. Would feel more comfortable beefing that part up at least slightly.

BRING BACK THE SMALLER WOMEN'S SIZE!

These used to be my favorite when they offered them in a more narrow ""women's"" size. Unfortunately these are way too wide. When the outside of my hand is on the flair of the grip for the palm, I can't reach my shifters/levers. I can't even begin to express how seriously bummed I am about this. No, I don't want the women's contour grips. They're too soft, bulkier, no waffle grip. I'd recommend them if you have giant paws, but not if you wear size Small gloves.

Best Grips

I ordered these grips not knowing whether they would suit my needs, and I am SO glad I did. They are sticky and comfortable, and the colors work with my bike. Would buy them again for sure.

Only ones I buy..... prolly 25 pairs

There are what I call ""small ergo grips"". The other style specialized sells (they look very similar) are not worth buying unless your grampa heading to the corner store. These ones offer serious grip and a racey feel. They do wear quickly though.

Excellent grip

Much better than the standard trail grips my bike came with, wish they didn't put low end components on such expensive bikes. The wider outside allowed me to resist the urge to grip too tightly and improved issues with finger numbness I was having.
