Packing two premium LEDs for class-leading light output, this light uses a super high capacity lithium-ion battery, so all those lumens come with long runtimes. A clever user interface, meanwhile, gives you four extra modes for secondary uses, but it also let's you focus on the three steady modes that matter. Still putting a flashlight on your handlebar? See what you've been missing with the new Flux™ 1200 headlight.

  • Sculpted double-beam pattern puts light where you need it and maximizes every lumen.

  • Latest CREE XP-L High Intensity LEDs combines XM-L level of output in a non-domed 3.5mm package for maximum lumens with better beam pattern control.

  • Quick-release bar mount works on 22.2, 25.4, and 31.8mm bars.

  • Mounting system centers light in front, above, or below the stem with a long reach to work around most computer mounts and shifter/brake cables.

  • Extra bright side lights to give you 180-degree visibility to other cyclists and motorists.

  • USB rechargeable 3400mAh Li-ion internal battery.

  • 1200-/600-/300-lumen output in three main steady modes.

  • 1:15-/2:30-/5:00-hour runtimes in three main steady modes.

  • Press-and-hold to turn off.

  • Long press-and-hold to enter secondary modes: daytime flash, steady wide + narrow flash, camping flashlight, and emergency low.

Superb light!

Absolutely brilliant light. Super small and tidy and love how you can just tuck it under the handle bars. The light beam pattern is excellent, with a wide beam and a focus bright spot in the centre. When your mates with silly expensive Hope and Exposure lights are impressed, it says a lot! Absolutely love this and I'd highly recommend it.

Defective JUNK

I was really excited to purchase this light two weeks later it stopped working I returned it and got a new replacement which also stopped working very very frustrating specialized needs to develop a better lamp that's not defective junk

I would NOT buy this product again!

I purchased two of these a little less than a year ago. In that time, the charging cord connector (male) pulled the female receptacle off of the printed circuit board - Specialized replaced this with a new lamp. Now, the replacement lamp, which I purchased specifically for the lighting output, has only one functioning LED. Expensive junk. Now, after writing a couple of emails to see if Specialized would do anything for me, I've received zero responses to my inquiries. I'll continue buying Specialized bikes as I have for decades but will stay away for their accessories at all costs.

Powerful light!

I've had this light for a while now. Super bright at daytime, takedown mode at night. People inquire about it all the time in my travels. I had fitment issues but I used gaffer's tape to wrap the handlebar so the light bracket could hold.

Great set up for road light. I have mine under the bar which gets the light on the pavement where I need it. Super fast charging! Great Specialized service.

Good light but could do with fitting options

Got this light after reading a friends review of it It certainly makes you visible to motorists The light beam pattern on full power is great but only good for an hour. The fitting bracket is solid on round handle bars but cannot be used on aero handle bars meaning I cannot use it on my Trek Madone SLR which is a pity. So in essence good light but limted to round handle bars only.

Short battery life

The overall design and functionality of this light are lovely. The light easily removes from the handlebar mount for recharging. The handlebar bracket itself is metal and is sturdy. Your light will never droop or shift while you ride; it is absolutely secure. It is not the kind of mount that you can adjust while riding, however. The horizontal beam pattern of this light is great and it puts out a lot of light. I found, however, that the actual running time of this light is less than half of that claimed in the product description, which is somewhat alarming. On full blast, it goes from freshly charged to 'red' in a half hour. For me that means that when commuting, I have to charge it before leaving for work, and then again while at work for the ride home. I can imagine this means that it will have a short lifespan, which is unfortunate because it's pretty well designed in every other way.

Great light

It's great! Can see the mountain path just fine. Careful of the handlebar width. The fat carbon handlebars on the Santa Cruz Hightower is too fat. It just fits the turbo Levo tightly.

Awesome Headlight!

I had owned the previous version of the Flux headlight and really liked it, so when it came time to buy a new one I bought this one. This is a great headlight it has good runtimes on the different settings and the daytime flash setting works really well. Can't miss a bike running this headlight. I also really like the shape of the beam it seems to have very good coverage. The fact that it has the side windows really makes a difference for being noticed by cars entering from side streets as the light is visible from the sides. The only slight negative (hence the one missing star) I have found with this headlight is that you have to be especially careful when snapping it into it's cradle as it is easy to not end up with it fully engaged that increases the risk of it falling out. But once it is correctly engaged it is solid, a lot more so than the previous version. The build quality is excellent on this headlight.

Great light!

I bought a brand new Epic and was going to ride it home, in the dark, in winter, at a distance of about 20 miles. I thought I should get best light the store had, and this one seemed to be it - it's certainly expensive! It really did its job though - lit up trails incredibly well. I saw pedestrians shielding their eyes due to the brightness! I think the mount is well engineered, although tricky to get tight.

Its all great except for the mounting system

I purchased this light a few days ago from my LBS /Specialized distributor. I commute in the dark morning hours during the winter so visibility and conspicuity are crucial to me. So far the light shines very brightly with a wide, usable beam, just as advertised. Charge time is short and the build quality is superb. For daytime riding (on my way back from work) I use the dual flash mode, which (I hope) prevents oncoming cars from killing me. The problem with the Flux 1200 is that the bracket is difficult to adjust. If I wish to re-aim the light's beam (when I switch from night riding to daytime riding) I must loosen the bar clamp cam - but it will not loosen enough to allow movement without completely opening the clamp itself. And re-closing it is not easy. It takes several attempts at opening, tilting to get the desired beam projection, and closing/re- tightening of the cam to adjust the beam so that it shines where I want it to. Very fiddly, and impossible to do while riding (unlike my other, rubber-mounted handlebar lights). There is a separate adjustment hex screw near the lamp housing that allows for some vertical rotation of the lamp, but only in large increments (maybe 10-15 degrees each step), making this screw useless for fine-tuning of beam direction - plus, you need a hex key. If you're going to find the perfect beam position and never adjust it, then you'll have no problems . But if you (like me) expect to tilt your beam up and down depending on where you ride and whether its day or night, the Flux 1200 is not for you. Had I known this I would not have purchased the lamp. Shame on me, I guess, for not testing it out at the store first.

So much light in such a nice looking, small package

This light helps light up the whole road at night but then provides an exceptionally bright daylight flash that gets drivers attention. I love that the form factor is parallel to the bars unlike so many other battery powered cycling lights. This is the second one I have had, my first was the 900 and it developed a loud noise from something loose inside and when I went to have it taken care of at my local shop I saw the new 1200 and upgraded. the additional flashing modes were a nice surprise after riding around with it steady on for about a week.
