The Crux is the lightest gravel bike in the world, with the exceptional capability of massive tire clearance and performance gravel geometry. It’s not just the ultimate expression of gravel performance, it’s your one-way ticket to gravel enlightenment.

This Crux Comp comes spec'd with a reliable and smooth-shifting SRAM Rival 1 hydraulic disc groupset, tough DT G540 Disc wheels, and 2Bliss Ready, 700x38mm Pathfinder Pro tires that hookup over nasty terrain.

  • Lightest: 725g S-Works 12r and 825g 10r frames. We took the revolutionary breakthroughs that made Aethos the lightest bike ever and applied them to the Crux. The result? A gravel bike that climbs like a dream, floats over nightmarish terrain, and weighs less than a full bottle in your cage.

  • Capable: 47c/650b x 2.1” tire clearance. More clearance means more capability. With Diverge-level tire clearance, Crux takes you anywhere you can imagine, at full gas.

  • Responsive: Nimble, supple, and reactive. Responsive at the pedals. Supple in the saddle. With performance gravel geometry and race-influenced fit inspired by Crux's iconic history in ‘cross.

Super Bike

A crux é minha bike atual.

The ALL-in-One bike - Awesome

I purchased the bike for the blue frame as it is only 100g heavier than the Sworks frame set. Sram rival power axs 2x, Terra carbon bars, cinelli carbon stem and finish kit, specialized mimic carbon rails power saddle and CLXII, Mondo 35mm. Coming in at 7.9kg for a 54cm its fast snappy agile and does anything, Incredible bike. Road, Hill TT, Gravel, CX this really is the Only bike you need. Lots of youtube videos showing why the CRUX is the only bike you will ever need.

Impressionante.

The ultimate “Dual Sport” bicycle,

The ultimate “Dual Sport” bicycle, with two different wheelsets, the Crux serves as a road and gravel bike for me. Crux Framesets weren’t in stock so I bought the Comp level build and swapped components over to SRAM RED AXS. The full build in “gravel mode” with Roval Terra CL’s and Continental Terra Speed 40’s is at 16.9 lbs and under 16.0lbs when in “road mode”. The Crux checks all the right boxes for me.

I love this bike

It took me two years to decide to purchase a gravel bike. I am glad I did, and I am glad this is the one I chose. Rides like a dream. My old rim-brake, 2010 Specialized Ruby has now been turned into a dedicated hill climbing bike, and the Crux is my everyday, good for everything else.

This little Ripper is a do-all bike for adventure, commuting and fun!

I bought a Crux Comp and stripped it down. (selling the unwanted components for a good price) Upgraded the following: - Bars: (Roval Terra carbon) - Stem: (S-Works SL alloy) - Drivetrain: (Force 11 cranks (40t), DUB BSA 68 bb, and Force mechanical rear derailleur) - Wheels: (Roval Terra CLs). This thing is sweet; rides like Spez Pro Crux (w/o a battery) while costing substantially less. I set up the bike with DMR magnesium flat pedals (commuting) but have a set of CB eggbeater 11's for gravel. One major problem: I also own an Aethos S-Works (Red AXS); choosing which one I want to ride is the hardest part of my day! :)

Seems to be a great bike. Since I had to order without my bike retailers expertise, turns out it’s a bit too big so now I need to wait until Specialized has to smaller parts in stock. Maybe one day I’ll get to ride it. For now, all I can do is just admire its sparkling newness.

Fantastic Frame - Very nasty Rival Shifting

The Frame is absorbing the vibrations very nicely and even with 3-4 bar tire pressure it is possible to ride over quite rough Gravel with "Full Speed". The seat post is very comfortable, so the bar tape and the saddle. The 11- 42 Cassette is a joke, 10 - 42 or 10- 44 and an other shifting system would be a huge upgrade. But off course Specialized would like to sell the next bike for 6300€. The Pathfinder tires are very fast for a gravel tire and ok in terms of weight. The DT Swiss Alu Wheels are ok for this price segment but relatively heavy. But as I said the frame is compensating all the other weaknesses from the components. Would I buy this bike again: Yes because it is amazing fun to ride, accept when I have to shift gears.

In love with this bike!

The CruX is stiff, light, responsive and has surprising super smooth shifting with the 1x Sram mechanical. This bike is going to rip during the CX season and some gravel events. For the price it would've been great to have a nicer wheel-set but the ride is still pretty amazing. Hopefully in the future there will be more bikes equipped with carbon wheels at these price points.

Fantastic bike! Light, shifts great, nimble, and fast. I love the carbon seatpost and geometry of this bike. Internal cable routing makes this bike look very sleek and the blue color is even better in person. On mixed surface rides I’m routinely passing mountain bikers on the trail and catching roadies on the streets. It’s pretty amazing. Can’t wait for CX season. At this price point, it would be nice to see a lighter wheel set. Gearing on the comp model is slightly limited compared to higher end models.

It’s in the name.

Crux-the decisive or most important point at issue. The faster pace my legs output, the Crux eats bumps and makes them unnoticeable as if it has a suspension. Incredible how rugged, lite and comfortable this Specialized Crux Comp bike is on gravel roads. With higher wheel PSI, this bike feels just as capable as my road bike, yet again, more comfortable. At 6”2, 225lbs, 58 fits just right, with handle bar tape, power saddle, disc brakes and Rival components…exactly what I want and have on my other bikes-durable, consistent, reliable.
