What is it about gravel that's so appealing? Is it the break from hectic city streets and cars? Is it the audible crunch of rocks beneath your tires? Or maybe it's just the feeling of adventure? Whatever it is, the Turbo Creo SL EVO is here to assist you further into the forest, down the gravel road, or on your next adventure. It features the same motor, battery, and frame as its road-oriented cousin, but takes advantage of tire clearance and adds in some adventure-ready components to take you wherever your heart desires. It's you, only faster.

The Turbo Creo SL Comp Carbon EVO features out Fact 11r carbon chassis. Yes, that's the same one on the S-Works model, and you'll also get a Future Shock 2.0. For the spec, we included a 1x Shimano GRX group to take on shifting and braking duties, while DT R470 Boost™ wheels get wrapped in wide 38mm Pathfinder Pro tires to keep you rolling fast and free on either pavement or dirt. And for the saddle, you'll find that our fan-favorite Body Geometry Power Sport provides plenty of comfort, while the X-Fusion Manic Dropper Post comes in handy when the descents get a little hairy.

  • The Creo SL is the lightest e-bike in its class—literally kilograms lighter than the competition. Not only does the lightweight and stiff FACT 11r carbon frame inspire dancing on the pedals and diving into corners, but it also reduces overall system weight and increases the range.

  • The lightweight SL 1.1 motor doubles your effort with as much as 240 watts of silent and powerful assistance to amplify your ride. The motor’s responsive torque curve delivers power perfectly in-tune with your normal riding cadence and leaves no resistance when riding unassisted.

  • Battery anxiety? Not on the Creo SL. With up to 80 miles of range from the internal battery, the Creo SL eats up big miles and long days. Our optional range extender provides up to 40 additional miles of mountain-flattening power.

  • By connecting with our Mission Control App, you're able to tune the SL 1.1 motor to your riding style, record rides, and monitor the battery. The app can handle battery management automatically too, ensuring the battery will last as long as you need it to. The motor even has a built-in power meter that transmits to any ANT+ head unit. Don’t want to connect? No worries— the Turbo Connect Unit (TCU) on the top tube gives you all the control you need to ride.

  • With the Future Shock 2.0, you'll feel a reduction in fatigue and an increase in speed, no matter the terrain. The 2.0 iteration gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.

  • We’ve learned there can be more difference between two male cyclists than between a male and female. Gender alone doesn’t provide enough data to specialize. It means that separating bikes as male or female is arbitrary and outdated. With this in mind, we've developed a geometry that's best-fit for all riders. One that's comfortable and snappy on the road, yet features all of the attributes you'd want from a proper gravel bike—a long wheelbase, raked-out fork, and low bottom bracket that keeps the Turbo Creo SL EVO stable at high speeds and delivers control in corners.

This is The One

What an excellent bike. I have Parkinsons Disease. Sometimes my body just gives up working and here is the magic. Put the Creo Comp Carbon Neo into power max and as long as you can turn your legs the bike will go. Most of the time even I can ride this bike without power on the flat and it feels like a heavy road bike. Come to a headwind and put in Eco power and the bike gives enough assist to make it easier. Come to hills up to 12% and put in Sports power and the hill goes away. Over 12% (steepest I have done is 17%) and put in Turbo and I can just so it. Transition from power to leg power at 15.5 or so mph is so smooth. Perfect. I found the Pathfinder tyre were not for me. Punctures all the time so I now have Marathon Plus and so much better. Such a good buy. I have done over 5000 miles in a couple of years and my heart still skips a beat when i get out on it and put on the power. Don't wait just get one. You wont regret it

Bike is great.

5cm dropper is a joke. Bought a 30.9 replacement, tried to swap and found out that it is 27.2 diameter, not 30.9 as it states in manufacturer description

Awesome ride!

i bought this to commute 20 miles to and from work. The ride has lots of hills. and this bike cut my ride time nearly in half. I use it in max assist mode and it has enough power remaining to go at least another 10 miles. I go through the gears on the flats in no time. Gonna have to be careful because in certain situations, it can be a little on the dangerous side when going so fast. I like that if I want more of a workout, I can set the assist level low or even turn it off. Nice looking bike, solid, high quality feel. I don't like the look of the sidewall on the tires so I'll be upgrading them and going tubeless. I think I will get the remote LCD display for it. I'd like to get the extra battery but I think it's over priced at $500. Consequently, I imagine serviicing any of the electronics or replacing the main battery will be expensive so I hope I don't have any issues.

Wow!! Great bike!

I have to tell you this bike is fantastic! Whatever misconceptions you might have about e bikes can be erased with the Creo. It's so natural you will feel like you are riding a normal bike but going a lot faster. I think the best description is that you feel like you have a strong tailwind at your back the entire ride. It takes the suffering out of long, steep climbs. I promise it will put a smile on your face. I've ridden bikes for 20+ years and this one is the best.

Great Bike

Most satisfying purchase I've made in a long time. Have had the bike for about a month and put about 500 miles on it riding local bike trails. Puts a grin on this 79 year old face every time I ride.

Best of the e-road bike crop

I wanted an electric road bike and test rode cannondale synapse neo 1, giant road e+1 pro, and turbo creo sl. Could not test ride a trek domane+ due to lack of inventory. This bike in the lowest setting (eco), feels like a gentle tailwind constantly pushing me. Power meter says I am still putting out 400-500W on climbs, yet I am riding 3-4 mph faster. Specialized hit it out of the ballpark with this one. I bought the Evo version because I want to start riding gravel trails. The flared handle bar feels weird, if I can not get used to it, I will swap it with a regular bar. Geometry of the L is spot on for me. Rides very similar to my Roubaix 56cm but the slightly shorter head tube is more comfortable for me.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bike!!!

This bike is so amazing. As a software engineer, it makes me want to write software for it. I wish I could have a display with it so I don't have to use my phone with it or attach other third party gear to the pedals and the back wheel from Garmin. I also would've liked better shifting. In some situations it can feel clunkier than I expected. I feel like it could be a bit smoother. I just love love love this bike. I feel like I want to clean it off after every use. I haven't been this happy with a purchase in a long long time.

Wow! It's even better than you think...

After years and thousands of miles on other Specialized bikes (Tarmac, Roubaix, Diverge, Sequoia) I thought the Creo might make a perfect exploration bike...taking those gravel roads and not worrying about the distance, terrain or the wind. Wow! Have I been impressed. This is a REAL bike! It rides great and the power delivery is so subtle. You just feel like you've got great legs that day. The power delivery is perfect and the battery life is exceptional. I bought the extended range battery but depending on your use of the bike (more than 70 miles) you may not need it. I like the Pathfinder tires but for me the dropper post is unnecessary. I may remove it and replace it with a lighter, more compliant carbon seat post. I also like the Shimano GRX group...it's excellent. I have ridden over 400 miles on the bike in the first two weeks. It is much better than I ever expected...and has become my new favorite bike. Specialized nailed it with this one!

Love this bike

This makes biking up hills and against the wind a true pleasure - I now go exploring further and further. I would strongly recommend the range extender. The app doesn't work for me - it can't find my bike and customer service isn't helpful.

Would absolutely buy again! Promoting to my riding friends!

Mostly road but yet to try on gravel...new to and e-biike and takes some getting used to like keeping the cadence up to use less battery! Nice tip from the Specialized folks! Took first ride from Manhattan to Jersey 40 miles with many hills and used all three levels of boost, eco on the flats, sport on moderate hills and turbo on the steeps! Who said you don't get a workout???

Not X-wind friendly

We test-road Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO's Dec 11th in Boulder CO. Coming downhill we experienced strong crosswind gusts that caused control problems due to the high profile carbon wheels. We love the bikes but we want the low profile wheels from the Comp Carbon EVO. that's the combo we want to buy

Almost Perfect - Love this Bike

I bought the Navy/White Mountains/Carbon bike Size S and love it. So far battery life is great even without the range extender and the ride is fantastic. My only complaint is the 'Carbon' paint. I actually took the bike back to the shop because I thought the paint was defective, but apparently Specialized has just put clear coat over the carbon on the top tube on purpose - which was not obvious to me in the web pictures. The Navy paint is beautiful, and I wish they had just painted the top tube the same color. Other than that one small thing I love this bike and have no desire to go back to a non-assist bike. I think Specialized did the right thing using a smaller battery to keep the weight down and having the range extender available.
