I've owned a handful of great bikes and multiple types of cockpits. I recently changed out an aluminum 40cm Roval with the 42cm Royal Rapide handlebar and I can't tell you what a joy this is. The road noise dampening effects are great. The ability to change comfortable positions across the entire cockpit is unmatched. If you do ANY sort of distance on the road bike and especially climbs, look no further. The platform to rest on the bars is fantastic. I seriously can't say enough good things about this product. To the point where I have a wahoo kicker bike and I'm getting one of these so the set up is EXACTLY like my Tarmac. Seriously, look no further.

Have only rode around 100 miles but so far it is a huge upgrade from my aluminum drop bar. Feels amazing on gravel!

It's a nicely made set of bars but they're smaller than previous S-Works 42's so if you want actual 42's I guess you somehow have to find a different brand slightly bigger but made exactly the same to integrate with the S-Works stem?

It’s a super light and great looking bar, slightly smaller profile than my old Aero 2’s. I decided to self-install but cutting the hydraulic lines and everything that comes with it is not for the faint at heart.

I've been wanting to try these bars forever. What took so long? They're so much better that round. The tops for sustained climbing are so much more comfortable on your wrist. Would definitely recommend these bars!

Excellent bars, they are clean looking and the design allows for multiple, effective hand positions. They are light weight. The drops keep my forearms form ocaisionally hitting the the tops while sprinting.

Very nive flat aero carbon handle bar. Looks good on my bike, easy to position, the quality is top notch.

Super happy with these bars. The quality of the bars is very satisfying however the 2 plastic triangles are not holding super tight.

VERY SATISFIED. ROVAL RAPIDE BARS ARE THE BEST

Earlier this year, I bought a S-Works Tarmac SL7 frame and built it up with the components of my choice. I was able to secure most of the components that I needed over time, with one exception… the Roval Rapide Handlebars. I installed another manufactures carbon aero handlebars in the interim until such time as I could get my hands on the Roval Rapide bars. After a number of months checking the Specialized site daily, the Handlebars in the size I needed popped up as available. I purchased them and installed them on my bike. The handlebars complete the fit, feel and performance of the bike. The bar installation was a simple process as the cable ports in the bars allow for easy cable installation and management. Bottom line… was it worth the wait? Absolutely!

Bought a Tarmac SL7 Expert and upgraded the bars to the Roval Rapide. Some might say it’s only a marginal gain, but as someone who lives in Chicago…aero is everything. These bars are light as they are fast. Highly recommend getting the front mount adapter for your bike computer and head light installed as well (# S219900020)

Absolutely love them. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that I believe the little screws or screw holes (pretty sure the hole) for the one of plastic wire covers was defective. After struggling for hours with an Allen key attempting to tighten them so it wouldn’t droop down—including cleaning the loctite off the screw, using a wrench to better grip the key (it’s a very small one), trying to clean out the screw hole—I eventually gave up with that and found a similar one that was longer and used a spacer so it would tighten down. I know this is a minor gripe on a piece that actually isn’t necessary for the bar, but it was just such a frustrating experience that I can’t give it 5 stars. I would still recommend the product.
