Ride a manual and E-bike both for work and leisure. Work in Home Health, so want a shoe that I can bike in, transfers most of my energy to the pedal AND also one that I can walk blocks and buildings. Researched a ton Hit on this shoe. Have used it the whole summer for both work and leisure and 100% satisfied. Sorry I waited so long. TIP: I normally use US10.5 for my gym shoes. Having tried bike shoes in store, I found they varied A LOT. I used the shoe/feet sizing guide on the Specialized website and ordered a EU45 US11.5. Thought it would be way too big, but it is perfect fit. PS I did the foot tracing (straight box) shown on the specialized website and carefully measured. Worth this effort!
Bought a pair for me and my son. Much nicer to ride with actual riding shoes than runners.
The shoes are advertised as “relaxed fit” this is NOT “wide fit” … ask me how I know. I do wish they came in wide tho, they’re kinda cool.
I purchased this for combination gravel / road cycling with gravel spiked pedals. i like the style and quality, but it felt too stiff of a shoe overall for my personal preference. I could see where a lot of people would appreciate the rigidity and support of this shoe, but I'm just used to something different.
This shoe is comfortable and sturdy, however after just a few months of light use the rubber is coming away from the tread on the side of the shoe for no reason. I am very disappointed in the quality.
Great riding shoe. Light and comfortable but solid. Firm sole grips my pedals so well.
Runs small!!
I was riding with running shoes and didn't know what I was missing until my local bike shop recommended a few purpose build MTB shoes to try. I tried a few brand/models and thought the RIME Flat MTB shoe fit my feet the best. There is a noticeable difference with pedal engagement and power transfer with these stiffer shoes. I'm super happy with the purchase.
Nice stiff sole, light weight, they fit my feet well (I normally wear a size 40, and I ordered a 40). Great pedal grip, and even good for hiking as advertised. Downsides are the color schemes, as well as the "slip not" sole which scuffs any floor I've walked on so far.
Good grip. Good fit. Looks good
I’ve tried a ton of different flat shoes over the years. These are by far the best. Excellent grip balanced perfectly with great pedal feel and sole stiffness, light weight, breathable, and water resistant. On top of that they look fly. Love them!
Very comfortable super grippy
Great shoe. would love to own this but it does not fit. Be careful when ordering if you have width challenges in your shoes. These are wide shoes and may cause foot problems / damage for you. Please make the shoes in NARROW, REGULAR, WIDE to maximize performance.
My shoe size is between 9.5-10.0 depending on brands. These shoes seem to be running a bit on the shorter side. Size 44 (10.6) ended up being the right fit size. They are wonderfully comfortable, and the grip is fantastic. Defiantly a keeper.
Finding these good however they could have been better. Where the tongue is sewn into the shoe is a bit rough (could be better finished?) But it doesn’t rub so acceptable. Also …waterproof shoe but not the tongue part. Good but could be better.
Great for wide feet
Needed a shoe with a shank in the sole and these fit the bill. Good torsional and front to rear stiffness yet is comfortable to walk in. I'm a 9.5 US D width and the 43 EU (9.6 US) fits great. Easy to clean, lace keeper is nice, plus treads on toe and heal are good for graded terrain.
Very comfy, great support. My shoe feels secure in the cage. Only drawback is they are a bit tough to get in the cage. But once they are in, they don't move!
These are very comfortable while riding. They don’t slip, and are sturdy. I would recommend highly for anyone, good price, and they look good also. Just make sure to go up a size from what you regularly wear, they run small.
These shoes offer a great blend of support and protection with flexibility and feel, which also helps with comfort as well as riding performance. Add in one of the stickiest soles out there for pedal grip, combined with deep tread on the toes and heels for of bike grip and this shoes is very confidence inspiring. Fast drying 3D mesh prevents swampy feet after a hot or rainy ride.
Without a doubt the best flat pedal shoe I’ve ever worn. Far more comfortable and even more sticky than the more prevalent brand that shall go unnamed but there’s a 5 in 10 chance you’ll know it. Anyway, I’m sold on these shoes! The best in performance and comfort—and they’re way cooler looking too! Love em!!
Comfortable shoe with lots of grip.
Awesome fit for both women and men I bought them for my wife and daughter. They feel so much safer and secured to the bike.
Comfortable, excellent grip, great in wet conditions
Did not have good peddle traction with old shoes, researched and chose the Rime MB shoe and what a difference. Love the shoe, the fit.
very nice shoe and great on the Mtn bike pedals
2nd pair of these. They are excellent. Great grip on the pedal. Comfortable and durable.
Nice shoe with good support
I've been using Five Tens for several years, but decided to try these out and they are pretty comfortable shoes. I've only used the once, but the seem to be very durable and fit comfortably.
I wear a 10.5 or 11 US for most shoes, 10.5 for Vans, 11 for Pearl Izumi, 11 for Giro, never had any problems finding the right size. I've bought 3 pairs of these so far, starting at 11, then 11.5, then 11.75, still somehow too small...returned for the 3rd time and just ordered size 12.25, over 1.5 sizes larger than any other brand of shoe I've worn. The retul size chart is now saying I should order size 12.6 which is 2 sizes larger than any other shoe I've worn. Really wish I could try them in person!
I’m giving these shoes a 3 star, I love the way they feel, I love the way the look, there performance is great as well that’s why it gets three stars. The downside of these shoes is after a month of wearing them the sides start to rip open; I swap between riding flats and clips, but mostly clips, I’ve probably walked more in these shoes then rode but the sides rip open and it allows for so much water and rocks and dirt into the shoe it bothers me and it just brings the value down, it’s kinda sad
Fantastic Shoe!! They really grip the pedals! They fit true to size!! I am very happy with my purchase!
Solid shoe with excellent grip and stability. Pretty water and mud resistant as well. True to size, the half sizes are important.
Sizes are true and shoes have a solid on pedals.
True to size in my experience. They offer great traction on the pedals but they also make great hiking shoes
I love it they're amazing
They look cooler than they fit. They are narrow and a bit cramped in the toe. I will update after I break the hem in.. unless I decide to return them.
