Nothing is Faster than Diverge STR on Rough Terrain
Smoother is Faster. Proven
Suspend The Rider (STR) technology not only eats up impacts so your body doesn’t have to, but it also reduces rolling resistance to keep you rolling faster on rough terrain with up to a massive 11.3 watts of savings—all proven by the Sports University of Cologne.
With Future Shock suspension front and rear, the new Diverge STR delivers compliance without compromise. By suspending the rider—instead of the bike—Future Shock technology increases control and efficiency while decreasing fatigue, so you’ll be riding farther and faster over chunkier terrain than you believed possible. And the Diverge STR does this without the weight, sluggish pedal response, and inefficiency of other suspension systems. The Diverge STR Pro starts with our FACT 11r carbon frameset with front and rear Future Shock suspension. It’s built with a mix of SRAM’s Force and XO1 eTap AXS components for fast, efficient shifting with a 10-50 cassette to ensure you have the gearing to tackle any ride. The bike rolls on the Roval Terra CL wheels with 42mm Tracer Pro tires. Terra carbon bars, an S-Works carbon seatpost, and Power Pro saddle complete the package making the Diverge STR the most capable Diverge ever.
By suspending the rider with damped, tunable travel—20mm front/30mm rear—Future Shock Technology absorbs bump forces to boost your control and capability while retaining the efficiency and responsiveness of a rigid frame. Because as far as power transfer goes, it is a rigid frame. Power to the pedals makes the bike jump like a scared cat. You’re efficient, you’re comfortable, you’re in control. Your bike is light, nimble, and responsive.
The new Diverge doesn’t just have gorgeous lines, it has perfect curves too. Future Shock Rear puts 30mm of rear travel in the ideal path to smooth out rough road. Its hydraulic damping controls travel to eliminate “bobbing” under power and ensure big hits never catapult you from the saddle, all without compromising fit or pedaling efficiency.

Born from decades of innovation and our Smoother is Faster philosophy, Future Shock was created to develop bikes that win on cobblestones, but it’s found its purest expression on gravel. It’s 20mm of adjustable, damped front travel that keeps you in control and on target, all while protecting your hands, arms, and shoulders from the battering.

Amazing for UK roads and 'freedom' to go
I'm a road cyclist - the pot holes are so bad that I went for this bike to make it a more comfortable ride.
This bike doesn't disappoint - and now I'm planning courses anyway - because the bike goes anywhere!
Love the bike, it get's attention when I'm stopping for my coffee! love love love

STR is legit
I'm a 30+ year master's road, mountain and gravel group rider and occasional racer. Durango, Tucson and Central Coast of California based.
The Diverge STR Pro is my third gravel bike. Did a couple 75+ mile gravel events on a titanium and front suspended carbon bikes. The STR platform makes the most sense. Able to stand up with solid acceleration. The front and rear compliance is ideal over rough terrain in a group scenario. The front stem removes the sting while descending. I occasionally use 35 Mondo tires on this STR for hilly road group rides in the vineyards of California. Really needed the STRs seat post compliance as my L5 to S1 is bone to bone.

FUN - Smooth - Might be PERFECT
Let me first state that I'm coming from an SWORKS Venge and we have very smooth roads. I love my Venge. However, there is something ultra fun about being able to link tarmac together with dirt / gravel / sand roads and frankly feel like a kid again on a bike. The ride quality is the best I have ridden in a LONG time - maybe ever. The ability to use suspension aka STR when and how you want is wonderful. Full tarmac, STR set to stiff feels like a fantastic race bike. Little chatter on the road no problem, middle setting with STR... head into dirt, gravel, or sand or just rough pavement, full STR and you glide. Very and I hesitate to even say pedal bob, it is very minimal and after a couple of minutes you don't realize it. That is how slight it is. This bike might just be perfect, I can see riding a century on the Diverge - STR no problem. Wonderful ride, ergonomic, comfortable and fast when you want it.
