The new Power Arc Expert expands on the success of our original Power saddle. It features the same channel and length as the original but with wings that arc down a little more for less hamstring/thigh interferrence. If you're already a Power loyalist, this iteration features a curved Body Geometry shape that better contours to your body. What does this mean for your ride? It means that you'll feel as if you're “in the saddle" and not on it. And ultimately, this equates to greater comfort and superior performance in all seated positions, no matter what kind of rider you are.
Patented Body Geometry design is lab-tested for both men and women to assure blood flow to sensitive arteries.
Lightweight and supportive PU padding for comfort and support on longer rides.
Lightweight, durable, and hollow titanium rails.
Level 2 padding: Medium density foam for bike feel with additional cushioning.
SWAT™-compatible mounts molded into the saddle base allow for sleek and integrated storage solutions.

Love the shape of this saddle. Unlike the standard Power the sides arc down (hence the name) so you don't get that shelf feeling in your inseam and you can glide along the sides of the saddle. Two things could make it better. If it had a more leather-like cover (I know they are pushing the rubber thing to grip but some of us like to slide our position a bit) and it would be nice if they would offer something a bit softer like the mirror tech but with a cover over it.
Coming off a Power Comp 153 the Power Arc 143 rides like a short nose 143 Romin to me. The flatness of the Comp supports body weight a little more so you might feel a little more weight in your hands with the Arc, but my pedal pressure is 50/50 according to my Garmin with the Arc which I could never get with the 153 Comp. Your seat height will feel lower with the Arc. Would be nice if rail dimensions and maybe total saddle stack height were published.
Subjective, as all saddles are, but this wasn't it for me. I prefer the shape of the regular Power. The Arc surely gives more room for the thigh to move without that bit of upper thigh contact, but it truly feel like you're sitting on a log and the pressure being all in the middle was not helpful for me. 3 stars because it is very well made and could be perfect for some.
I have this saddle on my gravel, fat and trainer bike and I ride pain free for hours and hours. I did the cardboard test about 5 times to make sure I got the correct width.
Was looking for a saddle that wasn’t curved, dropped off/rounded at the sides, came in ~155 and had a shorter nose. Found this and bought another after finally finding a saddle that works for me. Tried several others but always missed the mark on one thing or another through the process of narrowing down what i need. This finally ticked all the boxes.
Moving over from Fizik Arione as 2 back surgeries and getting older have taken a toll on flexibility. Really well made saddle that I wanted to like but just didn't work for me on either endurance bike. Simply too hard and I felt the cutout edges more than I would have expected. Found the holy grail (for me) in the Vento Argo Adaptive.
With the price of my normal road saddle up significantly, I've decided to give other brands a try. This saddle seemed like a good fit, but after many adjustments (this saddle is shorter and has less distance between rails and saddle than my old one); my sit bones are not happy after only 30 minutes on this. They even hurt the next day. I like the shape, but level 2 padding is just not thick enough in the right place for me. Could it be because my sit bone width is too narrow at 94?
I love my Power Sport on my Turbo Creo so I wanted to upgrade it. The Power Arc Export was not for me.
This is the most comfortable saddle I have used. Very sleek also
I know some people are brand loyal or brand averse, I’m not typically either. I usually want the product that is going to be the best for me and for what I want out of it. This saddle is exactly that. I got measured and tried two other, highly reputable brands but the Power Arc Expert was the clear winner. So much so that one sits atop all three of my bikes. One Enduro, one single speed and a road/gravel/commuter. Pick a bike, I’m happy all day!
Excellent ride. No hot spots. Better than my old saddle used for the 200 mile LoToJa race….and that’s saying something!! Looking forward to an even more comfortable season in the saddle.Highly recommend!!! Happy riding! Be safe!!
Perfect seat.
Comfortable, supportive, and good quality. I’ve used this for several long 60 mile rides without issue. Padding is firm, but I picked it because I needed a wider saddle than the one I was using. I chose the 155mm size.
I have this saddle on two of my bikes, plus on my trainer. Love it!
Exceptional mtb performance, super comfortable and very supportive. Getting the proper size is critical, be sure and take care to measure twice. Great value and a lot of extra power from the arc shape. Great craftsmanship.
Another fantastic specialized saddle
Super comfortable saddle.
This seat transformed my experience on a new road bike. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is experiencing pain or discomfort. And the seat comes with two bolt holes on the under side of the seat, which makes attaching a saddle bag with the right bolts, super convenient and rigid.
Great saddle overall. Fantastic shape with the sides that arc down. Decent weight. Could be a tiny bit softer and would prefer a leather-like cover instead of the rubbery cover.
I have ridden three metric century rides on this saddle and have found it to be very comfortable-no break-in needed. I trust it will be just as comfortable on longer rides. It has just the right amount of padding for me and allows me to move around on the saddle. It feels like you sit in it rather than on it. I rode Fizik's Allante saddle for years, including the most recent version, I like like the Power Arc Expert much better
Bought it for my Swerks Levo SL build. Lightweight and strong build. Great seat!
Great, As a larger person, it was nice to be able to get a wider saddle. Any saddle discomfort is now in the places it is supposed to be. I feel I can go on much longer rides now.
Comfortable, supportive saddle. Very happy with it.
Absolutely love this saddle. Bought this for my road bike (Scott Addict RC) and now I am considering getting at least one more of this same saddle for my gravel bike (Specialized Diverge), and possibly another for my Fat Bike (Specialized FatBoy). I've never understood why, but when purchasing a new bike, you should have options for saddle size, rather than having to purchase a new one. Not all sit bones are created equally lol.
There are many great saddles available. The trick is finding the one that works for you. This shorter length (143) saddle fits me perfectly. I have them on two bikes. The quality is excellent. My avg ride is 65-75 mi 3x a week.
I finally got fitted for the correct saddle size and this thing feels like a dream. I would agree with others that it gives a much more connected feeling thanks to the gentle arc of the seat. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I do wish it had a carbon frame at this price point though.
very happy with the seat
This shape fits me better than the Power Expert, which rubbed my hamstrings and was generally uncomfortable. Only thing I wish was that this had a little more padding (level 3 instead of level 2 maybe), but my sit bones will eventually get used to riding again.
I love this saddle. I've had a Power Arc Pro on my road bike for over a year now. I wanted to get one for my gravel bike and the Pro wasn't in stock, so I got the expert. It's excellent. I can't tell the difference in quality or feel. Good job Spesh.
Realizing saddles are personal, and that recommendations have limited value, my experience might still be useful. I developed chafing and sit bone pain a few years ago, which started slow and increased to where I couldn't be on the bike more than a couple of hours before the discomfort was distracting. After trying position adjustments and 3 different saddles (brand rhymes with ""physic""), I was despairing of a solution but didn't want to buy yet another saddle. Very, very glad I bought the Power Arc Expert. Night and day difference on first ride. For the first time in a long time I was able to ride without being aware of saddle pain. I'll probably get a second one just to have as a backup.
Sit bone width 113 Saddle width 143 After spending a season on the Specialized Power Saddle, I found that there were some pressure points that developed for me over some of my longer rides. After a bit of research I found that the Specialized Power Arc saddle was specifically with a different curve than the original Power saddle. This means that if you want a Power saddle but you felt like the original power didn't fit well for you, then this is your answer. For me this was the case. I found that I was able to ride on this saddle more comfortably and for longer than I was able to ride on the sister saddle. I also found that by comparison, I lost none of the gains in power that the saddle allowed me to have. That being said, this still isn't a great long distance saddle. You're going to be much better off using the Romin saddle if you want a similar fit for anything longer than 70-80 miles of riding. The overall design of the saddle is perfect for allowing you to put down the power. The shape of the saddle in the rear is more flat, and the middle cutout makes it ideal for any type of riding, road, gravel or mountain. The shorter nose allows for more aggressive positioning when needed although you should note that you will likely need to make some fore and aft adjustments to your regular saddle position by comparison. Between this saddle and the Power Arc saddle, if you're on the hunt for a new seat, I firmly believe that you'll find a great fit on one or the other of the two after trying both.
The Power Arc solved my comfort problem on my bike. After 20 miles with my old saddle, I would become increasingly uncomfortable, my power output would begin to drop and I wasn't having any fun. With the Power Arc I feel like I'm in the zone the entire ride!
The seat is to hard to be comfortable for my body.
The Power arc expert solved all the enigmatic butt problems and discomfort seating on a bike saddle. This saddle is awesome in the right saddle size. 100% satisfaction.
I was measured on the 3D RETÃœL FIT system. My sit bone measurement was 155. Thankfully Specialized cares enough to make saddles to fit wider sit bones as they are difficult to find in most major brands. Having tried several models throughout the summer the Power ARC was just perfect. I run this saddle on both my road and mountain bikes. Absolutely phenomenal fit and durability after two years of riding thus far. Thank you Specialized! Just add it to your cart and don't look back.
I had a phenom saddle loved it to death. Ride all day! However needed a new saddle got talked into Power not for me. 20 kms and you know its a struggle. Pain in the rear. Now looking for a new saddle.
