Long lasting. No flats

I have used this tyre on my front wheel commuting to work every weekday. It lasted over 5 years without a single flat.

Manufacturing Issue

Purchased as I was in need of some puncture proof tires. 700km in and no punctures yet, however I did notice what seems to be a manufacturing issue. My tire has a 30cm section of tread missing, about 1/4 the width of the tire. Can't say I noticed it at new however it's certainly there now. Maybe still safe to ride on, not sure?

Nothing Else Comes Close!

I've used Armadillos on my Langster for years. I have tried other tyres but never found anything as tough for commuting on the glass and debris laden roads of Christchurch. A little on the heavy side but that's the price you pay for peace of mind. Only had one puncture in the passed year with my current set and that was a screw through the sidewall which no tyre would be able to resist. Before that, I can't remember the last time I had a flat. I wouldn't swap my Armadillos for any other brand.

Sidewalls cracked on all 4 tires

I basically bought these tires because they're supposed to be good against flats. I like the ride on pavement. They were installed in a bike shop in the right direction. Unfortunately, they all cracked the second year I had them. They're never in stored in the sun.

Didn't pass the test

I just had a puncture(after 1400 miles) a week ago and bought Specialized Armadillo All Condition 700x32. I had a puncture again in the rear tire after not even 50 miles.

The Best.

I tour with a BOB trailer. These tires increased my speed and performance by a pretty big increase. I currently have a few thousand miles on them with NO flats.

Toughest tires I've ever ridden

These are really good tires. I got my first flat last week in the 2 years that I've been riding these tires. I literally run over everything on the streets of LA. I've even ridden them in the dessert and on snow covered roads. After riding these tires for the past two years I finally got a flat tire. I'm not even sure what caused my tire to go flat. These tires are hard to remove and to put back on. But it was nothing that some lubricant couldn't take care of. I highly recommend these tires if you ride city streets like I do.

Excellent puncture resistance.

The only tire that I've used that comes close is Conti's gator hardshell. Used them in both 25mm widths. Nothing plant based will penetrate the Kevlar threads of the armadillo. So only staples, nails, tacks, and other metal objects will pop you tire. Excellent product.

Way Too Hard to Get On & Off the Rims

I don't think I've ever owed a set of road tires that are harder to get on & off my 700c rims. It's nearly impossible to get off the rim, and I need a tool to get it on the rim when I should be able to mount them by hand. Never again!
