The best road mini pump does two things well—it inflates tubes quickly, and it stashes easily. The reliable Air Tool Road Mini pump moves almost twice as much air as its predecessor, thanks to its inverted dual chamber design. It gives you total peace of mind on days when pesky flats catch you off-guard.

  • Inverted dual chamber design is smaller yet moves 58% more air per stroke when compared to our previous design, reducing pumping time by up to four minutes.

  • Presta-only head with updated dust cover prevents pump from opening due to vibration.

  • Machined outer barrel for extra grip while pumping.

  • All-aluminum inner and outer chamber for durable performance.

  • Water bottle boss frame mounting bracket included.

  • Max pressure: 100 PSI (6.9 bar)

  • Volume-per-stroke: 30cc

loose cap ruins the pump

specialized makes awesome things, I'm a huge fan of the brand. this pump is great to operate, but the cap/valve-adaptor comes loose. caught it once, then it fell off on a ride when I had the pump fixed onto my saddle bag, so need to buy a new pump now :man-facepalming:

Great pump but easy to loose the top cap

It works great, very light, powefull... but the top cap unscreew very easily and I ended up loosing it, making it worthless... Even worse, specialized doens't sell it as spare part.

Need new cover design

Great little pump however the rubber tether that attaches the dust cap to the pump tore off after only a few initial use. Unfortunately no replacement dust cap is available. I still use it, just wish Specialized could rethink the design to make the tether more robust.

Pump cover doesn't rotate with head, breaks quickly

I got this to keep in my bottle cage container and was disappointed to discover that because the cap is attached to a rubber ring that doesn't rotate like the pump head does, the thin piece that holds it on quickly tore as it jostled around in my kit a little. It doesn't rattle, so it's not like it was shaking or anything. Not that big of a deal, but I'd expect better from Specialized. It seems like a nice pump otherwise.

It fits well, I have

It fits well, I have the turbo vado step through. I attached it to the lower bolts in that tight spacee that nothing else would fit. I have yet to test it in a real life situation. It seams to be tightly secured to the bike, and it has not fallen apart yet.

Be careful

Nice compact tool however like others have said the head screws out of the pump. This happened to me on my first need for using it. I now have a pump that is no good & Specialized are out of stock of replacements. Shame as it is very convenient to just put it in your rear pocket.

Unscrews itself somehow

The inner piece which attaches onto the tube valve loosens and screws out of the head. This happened multiple times where I found it again within my pocket only to eventually loose it permanently after less than a dozen rides.

Watch out the head can be accidentally loosened and lost.

This little pump was easy to carry around and got me out of trouble a few times. But unfortunately the head must have loosened (as it can be unscrewed) during pumping and fell out sometime later. I don't think the head should be capable of being unscrewed so easily and could lead to a real problem on the road.
