Just as capable of a daily commute as it is stealing the local KOM, racks and fender mounts ensure the Allez is versatile enough for whatever road you take it on. With tire clearance up to 35 mm (32 mm with Fenders), you’ll be ready for the roughest roads and even light gravel.

Four decades after the first Specialized Allez hit the road, the new Allez is the best yet. Lightest in its class,* it delivers more confidence, versatility, and performance than ever before – to more riders than ever before. Whether you’re looking for premium alloy, want a bike for weekend rides and fast commutes, or if you’re just beginning your road journey, performance road starts with Allez.

LIGHTEST IN CLASS: Starting with premium butted and double-butted E5 alloy, the Allez frame tips the scales at just 1,375** grams for a quick and nimble feel on the road. Plus, the full carbon fork reduces weight even more (no hidden alloy steer tube here) while helping smooth out your ride. And with modern, thoughtful build choices, it’s no surprise the Allez is also the lightest in its class.

INCREDIBLE CONFIDENCE: This premium E5 alloy frame is light, fast, durable, and, did we mention, gorgeous? The excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio coupled with the unmatched stopping power of all-weather dual-piston disc brakes delivers ultimate confidence at any speed. Plus, we’ve used the legendary Roubaix bike's endurance geometry to deliver unrivaled comfort for long miles and stable handling while ensuring the Allez can still dissect a winding road like a pure race bike.

VERSATILITY and PERFORMANCE: Just as capable of getting you to work or class, as it is checking off your local KOM or weekend group ride, racks and fender mounts ensure the Allez is versatile enough for whatever road you take it on. With tire clearance up to a beefy 35 mm (32 mm with Fenders), you’ll be ready for the roughest roads and even light gravel. If those roads get steep, Allez has a wide gearing range to keep you comfortably spinning so you can ride efficiently.

*Alloy disc brake-equipped bikes in the same price range are available at retail.
**Based on production frame set weights. Actual weights may vary slightly.
***Some bikes are shown with an optional rack, fenders, and carbon wheels.

  • Smooth Shimano shifting with 50-34 chainrings up front and the 11-32 cassette in the rear gives you the versatility to keep up on dynamic group rides or tame the steepest climb on your commute.

  • 30 mm tires give you the flexibility to run lower pressures – smoothing out rough roads, and a bigger contact patch for more confidence on every ride.

  • Disc brakes with 160 mm rotors in the front and rear give you more stopping power and modulation in any weather.

  • A full carbon fork and E5 alloy frame with confidence-inspiring endurance road geometry put you in the perfect position for group rides or solo road adventures. Hidden fender and rack mounts mean Allez can also easily handle your commute to work year-round.

Met all my expectations, Specialized quality!

I am 40 years old and this is my first road bike. I have several other Specialized bikes and wanted to get a road bike and looked at all the other options on the market but settled on the Allez as I love Specialized. I have been nothing but happy with this bike. The build quality is excellent and it is a great looking bike. I have put several decent rides on it now and am glad I chose this bike. Its seems very light and strong and is great for climbing. I would not hesitate to recommend the Allez to experienced or new riders.

You get what you pay for

For a road bike with drop handles this was relatively inexpensive, and it rode well while it lasted. There was a lot of quality control issues with the materials the bike was made from. Bought my Allez on line and picked up at the Poughkeepsie, NY Bikeway on 2021-07-14, a year and 10 days later on 2022-07-24 the crank shaft broke off. Got that fixed. Early June 2024, the frame cracked on a joint near the crank. Now I have spare parts and accessories less than 3 years after buying the Allez.

5 for the bike, -1 for the assembly process. Average = 2

This is undoubtedly a great bike, light, responsive, a pleasure to ride. BUT if you are thinking of ordering one online and you have never before assembled a bike, think twice. The website claimed something along the lines that the bike would arrive almost complete, and that only minimum assembly would be required. Not true. Among simpler tasks, it required complete assembly and tuning of the shifting and braking systems, and routing of the corresponding cables. AND, the worse part is that there were absolutely NO instructions. The bike comes with some very incomplete general instructions and directs you to a Specialized webpage that had generic and largely non-applicable directions. The Shimano shifters came with a tiny piece of paper that gives a web address, supposedly with assmbly and tuning instructions, which are outdated, incomplete and in any case worthless. Similar but even worse for the Tektro brakes. I am mechanically savvy, and do much of the maintenance on my cars. Even then, having never before assembled a bike I had to spend a long time online searching for "how to" guides to be able to succesfully put together and tune the bike. As I said, it rides great, and if I had to assemble another one I could probably do so in a tenth of the time that this one took me. But if you have never tackled this jobe before, be warned. It won't be easy,

Great Bike!!

As someone who is getting more into cycling and loves speed but also practicality, the Allez offers that all (for me). On the more affordable side for the amazing features you get. It rides well and I can definitely see me taking this long distance and still be comfortable and happy.

No nonsense fun loving road bike!

Needed a bike for my son getting into road cycling. Sad no Allez JR now, but 44cm in new allez fit just right! So many mechanical shifting bikes have "hidden" cables these days making maintenance such a hassle. Love that spesh kept things simple with classic cabling on their budget bikes. We will upgrade the wheels soon and saving up for the new 105 12 speed with hydro line brakes down the line. My son loves the bike and maybe his little sis will ride it one day too.

Purchased new Specialized Allez bike.

I had been looking for a bike for quite some time that had both disc brakes, was light, and had the gear shifters with the brakes that wouldn't cost me over $3k. This was a great purchase, I got everything I was looking for at a great price and I have been riding on the new bike and it has been a great experience.
