Internships/Externships/Co-Op’s: What’s it all about?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in the bike industry or daydreamed about working at Specialized? What’s stopping you? If you are a bright, energetic, driven and passionate about bikes, you’ve come to the right place. Specialized is one of the strongest brands in the world. It takes a lot of talented people to make this happen, and not just anyone gets through the front door. Our internships offer you the opportunity to work aside the best in the business. Learn what it takes to be a part of the most innovative company in the industry. Your time will be spent on projects that will give you experience to take to your next profession, or we might just have you stick around for a full time gig. It’s up to you to take it as far as you want…but know that we have very high expectations!

• • Internships are part-time (10-20 hours per week) during your fall/spring semester or summer break

• • Externships are full time (40+ hours per week) for post grads looking for a taste of the bike industry and are 3 months (or more if you kick butt)

• • Co-Ops are full time (40+ hours per week) usually offered to seniors who we think can make it in the industry. Typically these are reserved for mechanical engineering students. These positions may lead to a full time position

Prerequisites

• • You must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or no more than 3 months out of school.

• • Junior or Seniors only

• • Strong academics are essential

• • You must have a relationship with bikes: whether you ride to class every day or you race every weekend.
