A thermal jersey is a key component to winter riding, and the SL Expert Thermal Jersey is no exception. With special thermal fabrics, it's not only extremely warm, but also lightweight, stretchy, and downright comfy.

Oops, at 70 yo I
Oops, at 70 yo I should have gone with the RBX. Im what you’d call an easy going type rider. A little tight for me. But, with a light merino wool turtleneck and this jersey, I’m good to a wind chill of 34 degrees with a Peruvian beanie. Below that, I throw on an Alpha jacket and I’m still good in my riding shorts. To be honest, in CA I haven’t really ridden in a wind chill below 30.

40 to 55 Deg.. F. perfect
A little tight for me and my chest size is at the lower end of large and sleeves are long for my short arms. Perhaps should have gotten the RBX, But!! Sure is nice on those brisk days in NorCal, below 40, throw on an Alpha Jacket and a beanie under the helmet and good to go.. Oh yeah ,and by NorCal, I don't mean the winter tropical temperature Bay Area, no, 240 miles to the North.
